You guys think this is a good thing think people.


1. Every jedi will be a jedi/tkm/fencer defnow theres no reason to be a full jedi


2. When all the other players learn about this they will be tkm's


The whole game will go tkm you just watch and see.

Well, first, I took that statement to mean that Melee in general is going to be the counter to Jedi, not just TKA. So I guess whether Jedi get any Kinetic resists with their robes will determine whether TKA becomes the ultimate Jedi-fighting profession.

Secondly, I'm all for taking Jedi down a notch, but I don't think that this is really the way to do it. I think TKA is already a pretty damn viable PvP profession, so it doesn't really need a specialty like Jedi killing. Furthermore, does it really make sense for someone using their fists or knucklers to be able to get the goods on what's really the ultimate melee profession, attuned to a Force that lets them see your actions ahead of time and have super reflexes, carrying a weapon that can cut through your weapon and your body like it's butter?

I know, I know, there's that thing about TKAs being the Jedi-killers. But again, that's far from continuity, it's what amounts to a single fanfic.

Also, there's already been talk on the BH boards about a BH 3/0/0/0 TKA 0/4/4/4 Jedi Hunting Template, and I have a feeling that's going to become a reality if these changes go through. That would be a horrific day for TKAs if I ever saw one.

Frankly, the devs opened a huge can of worms by handing out too many slots of what, by all rights, should be able to take on 5-10 PCs at once, and then not only encouraging them but forcing them to PvP against the average PC. There's no way to get balance this way while still giving Jedi their due power.

But, I guess we're all going to have to wait for the Combat Balance... As always, hehe...

....not that i don't love the TK profession, having masterred it in the old days, but aren't we bounty hunters supposed to be the cause of jedi fear? So much for population control...

Whats sad is there never would have been a jedi explosion if they wouldnt have flooded the market with the christmas holo giveaway. I went and looted all my holos before that and it was no easy task took me a month that was a huge mistake.

Whats wrong someone challenge your position as the best class in the game? well dont worry the developers have successfully screwed over Bounty Hunters again and now anyone who is a TKM that being everyone and their grandma will be able to own a jedi with their bare hands (my ass). I mean come on would you really want to go against a trained jedi with a weapon that can cut through a blast door i highly doubt you would last 2 seconds at that range.

i think this is good , as we are the Jedi killer on tc2 andway i can easly take a knight on test with TKM , so it look nice more content and then just 90% kentic res , for us , this is why i liked tkm

Jedi here...just so you know where I'm coming from.


- I think TKM's will be feared by Jedi until the Combat Balance. After that, Jedi will own you...at least the mid to high level ones.


- I'm thinking ahead, and I haven't tested this...but I have a 32m ranged knockdown that causes a substantial amount of damage, that I can spam almost indefinetely. What's to stop me from kiting TKM's like ranged guys kite you now?

(Speaking of which....it's pretty funny and ridiculous that while the saber is 30m away hurtling towards an opponent, Jedi somehow magically block ranged attacks as if their saber was still in hand...hahaha...it would be nice if they fixed it so that saber block doesn't work while throwing, but I doubt this will happen)

aye true mate , but at the moment TKM are killing jedi easy on tc2 and those jedi are knights , but as you said wait for the rebalance , this thread was taken off thunderheart talking about the rebalance , so it looks as if TKM may be getting a jedi hunting mission maybe ?? no one can say but the dev in this , but it be nice if it happens o and Lunge two is 20m maybe not as long as jedi lunge but if the bugs not fixed and you spam jedi lunge we'll be back on are feet in no time and up close and personal , which means dead jedi

no way should teras kasi get jedi hunting missions, its fine if you guys are the new threat to jedi but us bh's should be the only ones to get missions hunting jedi even if they are screwed up and don't work and probably never will

the whole game has gone tkm (at least on chilastra...)


You cant walk down the street without seeing a TK Monk or TK Expert... not to mention the 10-20 TK Masters I see regularly out on the hunting field!


lol... prolly all because they moved the vibroknuckler cert to novice TK.
