Does anyone playing on Test know what Defensive Acuity does?

Not playing on tc but I read this on the tka forum.


Defensive Acuity basically is your ability to randomly block/dodge/counterattack.

What exactly does this do for us, and does it work at all? The description is kinda vague.

It seems to counter the effects of all the other melee classes

Well, sarcasm is lovely and all, but could anyone give me a straight answer? Im not going to have enuf points to master tka, but would like to know if that line is worth it.

It's supposed to increase our defensive skills but currently its broken for TKA. Works great for the other melee. Rest asured, they will fix it eventually.

Has anyone ever seen this affect their avatar in any way? I am just 4/0/0/4 right now but I have never dodged, countered, or blocked using unarmed...


Are they going to fix this someday?

I've seen Counterattack in my combat log quite a number of times since I got TKA. I do not have the skill from any other profession.

And when I was Master Pistoleer and Master CH I would see that I would conterattack in the combat window too, but this is neither a Pistoleer nor a CH skill mod.


/shrug


Counterattack is anactual skill mod though, I believe it is in the Heavy Swords and/or Pikeman trees.

Very interesting. I don't think I Counter'd before getting TKA, but I could be mistaken. Oh well...

With all the other bugs in this game, I would not be suprised if this is actually a glitch and not intended.

actually, if you all would read the description on Defense Acuity, you would see that it raises the chances of a successful block, counterattack, and dodge. So it doesn't do a damn thing, unless you have some kinda mods for dodge and them.
