Any thoughts? I was going to try this the other day, but then thought better of it and thought I'd get some input. Firstly, I want to know if any other TKM's have tried this and what their templates are. Secondly, I'd like some opinions on if I'm suicidal or have a decent chance...here's my temp...

TKM, Rifle 2003, Chef 1132, Medic 1100

Ubese armor with 76% kinetic resist, and your ever popular VK's, sliced and powered up of course.

Let the good times roll....let me know what you all think please.

Thanks,

TKM with full doc buff, 2 shots of 400+ brandy, 2 bites of canape plus musician and dancer mind buff would be the best to go as.

Whether or not you'd win or not is another question, at least have another TKM there to tag team and a doc to rezz if required.

Ive been tempted to try this out with a doc friend butnever got around to it.

Ive got a TKM Commando on Radiant but ive got a TKA Doc on Farstar so might try with him instead.

Not that its gonna be easy to finda krayt of course.

Speaking of which...anyone have a good location or strategy for finding a krayt?

I spent the better part of a day in the Canyon and didn't see a dang thing other than some dragonets, feral banthas, desert demons, tuskens and settlers. Very disheartening.

To be honest the only way you're gonna lose is if your buffs wear off, you over doing on the specials or the krayt gets a few lucky hits through the armor hole at a bad time.

As a TKM/MHS I tanked a krayt for about an hour without requiring any heals at all. I was lucky to only get a few armor hole hits and none right together so I had time to regen.

How bad can one of those puppies hit for? General range would be nice to know.

The only ones I've personally fought where canyon krayt style. With those and wearing 80% kinetic armor I never saw a hit through armor greater than 100 to 150 dmg while Intimidated. (I never fight them without Intimidate so cant report those numbers)

I wish you luck, but honestly I don't think anyone SHOULD be able to solo a Krayt, even if they're buffed. Things like this are why people keep crying Nerf on our beloeved profession. Whether or not it's the coding for the krayts or not I still think this is wrong. MHO only.

A krayt is a bloody huge creature. Surely if it were real it'd be able to turn around, fart and (literally) blow everyone away? That'd be nasty.. imagine if a Commando was there as well with his flamethrower.. inferno.. *cough* anyway..

Or, more practically, it'd be able to just step on you and that'd be the end of the story. No profession ought to be able to solo one, buffed or not.

I agree with you, truly I do. A krayt shouldn't be a soloable mob. But I'm still gonna try it, and if I die fighting...thenit'll beone helluva story for the grandkids... haha. Really, I'm just looking for a good challenge with PvE. Dathomir kinda lost interest, though I'm finding fun in hunting Nightsisters.Let me tell you all....a Spellweaver and a Sentinel are hard to fight at the same time....

i'm a tkm and i tried soloing a krayt. The problem isn't that it was hard to fight him because i had great armor (90% kinetic) and doc buffs... I mean, i fought the creature for over an hour without him even wearing me down any. The problem is, depending on how high the resists are on the krayt, trying to solo one with just your vks might be pointless. You might not be able to do enough damage to take one down within the time limit of your buffs (no joke) if you are fighting a krayt with near 80-100% kinetic resists. I suggest you take a friend (preferably a rifleman with a t21 eqipped) to take the beast down.

That would take so long you would drop your buffs like 8 times and never kill it,im sorry but about 350k HAM and Heavy armor is really bad on the TKM side. You would need help to kill it,sure you could survive, but it wouldn't go down.
