Thread: TKM and Soloing a Krayt
My Template is TKM / MD.
I tried to solo an adult canyonKrayt once. With full buffs, and 80% kinetic composite armor it dropped me in less than a minute. It was doing several hundred damage each attack through my armor, AND it had a point blank ranged attack whichI have no mitigation for.
Also, be aware that you're talking about a creature with 300,000 HAM, 85-90% Kinetic Resists, and Heavy armor. My unarmed attack does 2400 damage with '/unarmed hit 3' but if you modify that for the armor and resists(.5*.5*.15), you're looking at your best attack doing no more than 90 damage. The Krayt regenerates faster than that. Even if it didn't regenerate, you would have to hit itwith yourbest attack 3,333 times. Assuming you hit every 2 seconds, that's 1 hour51 minutes. Meanwhile theKrayt will be hitting you back for much more.
I know it was possible, and easy, to solo the old 30k HAM Krayts. A lone TKM might be able to solo the junior Krayts, but not the 300k HAM monsters.

This guy dosent read....
It cant be done. Read the whole string, armor is too thick, resists too powerful, and farts to damn strong.
TKA cannot solo!!!!
You can solo a regular krayt dragon, but will need to heal from time to time.. Of course you need buffs and good armor. It will take you probably a couple hours to kill one, by that time though another group will probably steal it from you. Juveniles take like 20 minutes or less. Giants you have no chance..

So within reason, a TKM cannot solo a krayt. He would need someone available to rebuff him, and the definition of soloing a krayt is doing it by yourself with no outside help. I'm not sure if docs can buff themselves while in combat?

Using only TKA skills to deal damage? That would take a really long time. Longer than buffs last. I suppose someone could jump on their bike and get out of range so they can buff themselves back up. Or do you mean some other way.
