Thread: Bi-Weekly Question: What do you want to ask the devs next?
hmm tough one.
we already have the dmg type answer, well at least partially.
suggestions:
- FoW timer reduced?
- better defenses? (what i would ask for...esp in def v kd and posture(down) since we ARE masters of unarmed combat)
- more specials that apply state effects, ie ua dizzy2, ua blind 2, etc
- status of combo2 fix?
- architect craftable - TK droppable Dojo's?
- chance of DOT VKs to be craftable? if not craftable, higher chance that they drop? (only seen 4 on my server, i have 3 lol)
cant think of anything else, it's late

Other professions gain Dodge, so why doesn't the master of martial arts have a Dodge bonus/skill?
Rather than ask a question that will be answered by "in the combat balance" I would rather follow up the pikemans question and answer that was received last week. Namely.....
"I agree that Axkva Min is indeed a challenging target and that the Pikeman covet the Energy Lance because basically, it gives Pikeman a useful and much desired weapon. The answer however is not to lower the challenge of Axkva Min and make a treasured weapon easy to come by, but rather, the goal is to raise the effectiveness of the other Pikeman weapons and specials so that Axkva Min’s loot remains a fun and exciting adventure but doesn’t ham string the Pikeman by making that their only viable solution. So, no, we are not going to nerf Axkva, but rather, place a strong focus on the Pikeman profession in the Combat Balance as they deserve (which would include giving Pikemen a weapon or ability so that they could participate in these types of Night Sister Raids"

I'm all with the duel wield thing. I mean come on, we have kinetic and soon in live, heat. These are the two most protected damage types in the game. Heat is awful for PvE but does only little better than kinetic in PvP and kinetic is a joke in PvP but great in PvE. Besides, how could a fencer wield two stun batons or gaffi sticks and we cant wield two tiny VK's or Rk's (tiny compared to fencer weapons)

I'm all with the dojo thing too. I mean it may seem like a crazy and pointless idea at first, but think about it, they can have bonuses and such, like meditation bonuses such as a better powerboost. More stuff in the dojo idea aswell. Please dont flame, it's just an idea.

- Gameplay - Defense Versus States - We have very low Defense vs. KD and Posture Change, as a close quarters specialist we should be quicker on our feet, and thus tougher to knock down. (It even states in the available documentation that we are difficult to knock down at Master).
OR
- Feature - Teras Kasi Order - There is no content in game to explain the TKA beyond 'Unarmed Fighters.' We would like to see some sort of organization behind the name,and know if we are meant to enforce a Jedi code, like is mentioned in the Expanded Universe.
OR
- With last week's "19 Answers" answer to the Pikemen, you suggested that through the use of new weapons they would be able to combat some of the tougher mobs alongside other combatants (through new damage types). Are there plans for the same thing to happen for the Teras Kasi? And is it realized that the only way to get our forthcoming new weapon (the Razor Knucklers) we have to fight an NPC that has 100% Resists to our only damage type?
Just my suggestions...
But I can see the need to get the specifics on things such as defense and/or damage types(etc).
You've got a little less then a week, so there's plenty of time to get all the ideas on the table and come to a consensus
With the current title changes from "... Expert", and w/ the most grateful change of TK Artist to TK Mystic, will our TK Expert title be changed as well?
i'd like to see it gone
