did this also get nerfed? because I have yet to get it to work for me, im very tired of seeing the message "You are unable to keep yourself centered, and become lost in unconsciousness".

Its my understanding that this is supposed to revive you from incap faster but take tons of your other bars to do. Anyone seen this actually work?

I get it to work about 30-40% of the time. Problem is, everytime it's ever worked it has COMPLETELY drained every HAM bar. I don't know if this is just because I was pretty banged up whenever I used it...but at least once today I had 500+ action left and it took it all, along with all my precious, precious Mind.

ForceOfWill, as it stands right now, has rather limited uses. Yes, you get up faster (instantly, in fact...if it works). But with no HAM on anything, you can't exactly charge back into the fight. And if you're surrounded by aggressive mobs...you may not WANT to get up right off with 0 HAMs to fend them off. If you've got pets, good. Lets you get up and control them again while you /meditate or sit down and slowly regen your stats. Medics can heal up the action and health it takes, but the MIND...oh, the mind...

Good luck.

The few times it has worked for me I have come back and have lost all agro. Even agro mobs ignore me long enough for me to get away. And yes it drains your entire HAM. Unfortunately, I have found it only works about a third of the time if that often.

It's pretty **edit** good in PvP if you get it to work.

Back to the problem at hand though. Ive tried to use the skill many many many times. On a good run ill have a 20% success rate. Thats just unacceptable.

Considering it costs us so much ham to use it anyways, it should have atleast a 75% success rate. They need to put some work into the meditate skills in this profession cuz theres some funky stuff goin on.

Umm perhaps I need to start counting, but it seems that force of will works more often than not for me.

I agree that they need to increase the effectiveness of FoW. It should work more like 75% of the time, rather than 25% of the time, and should not completely drain all of your HAM bars.

i was fighting mutant rancors recently with my graul mauler recently. He was averaging 300 damage which seems kind of high considering I'm a 4/4/4/3 tka and they only average 400 on pistoleers. Anyway, he incapped me and i force of willed (did 1400 damage to me) and was immediately up. He didn't reaggro but he chased me around and eventually applied a mind bleed that ended up killing me (didn't think to meditate). Strange thing is...I sicked my graul mauler on the guy and the mutant rancor would not attack either me or the mauler (just apply the AE bleed of his).

Anyway, both times I have tried to use FoW, it has gotten me up immediately. The success rate may have to do with how much ham you have left in your bars. The first time, it took away 1200 and the second time it took away 1400 so it may only work when you have over 1000 to give.

It's totally random I'm afraid...your ham has nothing to do with it (seeing as how I've been incap'd, force of willed, then immediately been incap'd again and successfully force of willed again).

As for success rates, considering that you get to try it every single time you go down, 75% might be a little high (course I'd rather it had a 100% success rate myself )

Except that 1 auto-fire from their pistol will likely knock you down, and since you have virtually nothing on your ham bars, there is nothing you can do but get incapped again/slain. Most of the time NPC's / creatures do not re-aggro right away, but I have had times where I immediately got aggro upon standing up.

What I'd like to see is 50% success rate and it balances out your HAM bars like Equilibrium.

Right now it is very use full in PvE and useless in PvP BECAUSE when you get incap they still have you targeted and if you get up 1 shot and your down again.

I dont think 75% is high at all considering the ham costs. Thats still a 25% failure rate. Seems fair to me.
