Thread: I would like to see DOT knuklers or Electric damge type

idea 1)

folk it makes sense to me that the TK's can place a DOT on thier weapons or like a poison mele attachment.... its a no brainer


idea 2)a second damage type


let usget electric or stun... the "vibro" means that its virbrating it has a motor why not shock people with electricity or stun


like a stun gun...


idea 3) if those don't work let TKM have something liek a KI strick that certain attacks do differn't kindas of damage...


example unarmed3 does electricity unarmed 2 does acid unarmed 1 kenetic mind hit does flame....etc


could be fun and make the TKM have to cahnge their attacks around

We already slighty overpowered with just 1 damage type... now you wanna give us dots and more damage types? my don't think so

I think shooting fireballs out your arse would be a cool TKM skill to have.. Add that to the list of "Things to make the best Non-Jedi combat Profession even more GOD MODE like"


Makes me wonder about the players who always want more power. When clearly TK is already one of the best combat porfs in the game. Count your blessings my friends. Try Pikemen or Carbineer sometime. Trust me you'll be gratefull to have TK then

How about this, I dunno if anyone ever mentioned it before, I dont follow the TKA forum all the time but how about keepingkinetic damage for when we use VK's.

Then how about having different damage types depending on the type of special you use?

So I dunno off the top of my head

Stun Damage is you use unarmed stun or head hit

Unarmed Combo could do like 2 or 3 types of damage (i.e. calc total damage done to each pool divide by number of types of damage and then calc for each of those based on the resistances of the mob you are attacking)


I could see unarmed hit 3 doing fire damage, hitting in such a flurry you're fists turn to fire?


Like I said I would envision this happening ONLY when you werent using VK's and the basic attack would still do kinetic

That would blow. We'd be forced to use really weak damage specials in order to switch damage types. I'd hate that.

Hmmm, funny, pikemen can do I think electric damage and solo much higher end pve content then TKM, They have a much easier time doing mid range content with extremely effective AoE attacks. Overall, TKA is a force in PvP, debatably over powered, but in PvE we are far from powerful when taking other profs into account, yes even pikemen. Not advocating the original posters ideas, I just think you are a bit off base in your perception of TKA.

The stun part would Greatly overpower TKM, but I can agree with Electric, Kin and electricity are the mos blocked on Composite, Would be great in DWB and Geonosian Caves.

psst for thouse of you who havent been tkm long enough to understand its weapons strengths and weaknesses...

one were not the best proffesion out there the proffesion dosent madders its the person who uses it. tkm has fast damage but is kenetic witch sucks against melee profeestiosn with 80% kenetic or more resist. but we are good at kd's and other status. witch is fine. (riflemen is overpowerd nomadder what though =p) and DOT vk's DO exsist there hard to get and usualy suck ive looted a couple like 20-50poisons with low pot.. lol then looted one 212mind fot with -1uses and 81% pot =). you get dot vks from mercanarys or any npc on lok. you get the uber vks from enranged rancors on dath... keep in mind it took me abotu 2months for me to loot one good one of non stop hunting. so they are hard to get.
