more htan a month ago i got novice TKA, but dropped all of brawler immeditately to go Image Designer(for holocron). just recently i fought my way back up the unarmed tree so i could truly test out TKA. it took me about 1.5 weeks of fighting to get to novice TKA. in 4 days of 5 hour play times each, i am now 4/1/4/4 TKA. I really do love TKA, but going up almost a whole profession this fast is just horrible. if i play tomorrow ill have MTK easily. This is the profession iv had the funnest with since i went rifleman(first profession ever, still have it). compare this class to all other classes at novice. it just whoops any other ones ass at a mere novice level. granted, this isnt the best pvp profession, but against dumb people(70% of hte people in this game), a buffed/armor'ed TKA can own any PC in its path. Against npc's, its godly. all i need to do is land a dizzy and a KD, which lands 75% of the time +. Powerboost is awesome, as is healing your own wounds, and FoW.

I go professions that usally seem hard. i mastered Rifleman before we were given any love what-so-ever. SL wasnt soon after. and obviously, just recently i went TKA expecting a challenge, but i feel dissappointed in just 4 short days the whole profession is almost mastered.

As it stands, it looks like TKA will soon be nerfed hard, for a few reasons. Not counting the master brawler posture-down move, TKA is just awesome in PvP. iv already been able to break 4k HAM stats with PB and doc buff's, then add on 80% composite armor. TKA is almost entirely self sufficient; wounds just at meditate IV are healed extremely quickly, along with most DOTS, with the only exception being fire (noone can heal this). No other profession has anything close to FoW, which even if it fails 50% of the time, also succeeds in helping you up immediately 50% of the time. We have moves that hit every pool specifically. the only thing we dont have is DOTS, but still, theyre useless. at a master rifleman, i havent used any bleeds in ages. i can do tons more damage with powerhouse attacks than i can with DOTs.

So let me ask you this, how is it that TKA can be so powerful and self sufficent, yet be extremely easy to level?

you can get novice pistoleer in 6 hours or less. so what's your point?

you can be master marksman by the time it took you to be novice tka. just ask any commando what took longer to get. master marksman or tka novice (should they chose to get it). heck getting unarmed 4 can take longer than getting 2 lines of novice markman.

and if you applied the same dedication to pistoleer you'd have been working on you second proffession on day 2.

Well 5 hours for 54 days is 20 hours.

if thats straight grinding and no breaks its possible to master almost any proff..

It's not too easy for the fact not everyone is a powergamer lol.. **edit**...

You remind me of the guys that would find an exploit, exploit it for a few weeks then after you had your fill of it would then champion the cause to have it nerfed lol... **edit**....

I mastered Commando in 4 hours.

I mastered Pistoleer in 6 hours

I mastered Carbineer in 9, and then a few minutes.

Don't tell me TKA is too easy. This is the first proffession I actually felt I was grinding... But every box I feel a surge of joy and accomplishment at my new abilities.

even with that, we can still get our asses kicked by ranged(though less in the case u mentioned). I cant speak for the other brawler proff(the only other brawler proff is fencer that I have), but pretty much anyone with a rancor or a fast e11(i think thats it) can still take us out. in pvp it comes down to the player not the proff more or less. I dont think we will get nerfed.

You have time and the dull sensabilities to play a video game for 5 hours per day but everyone else is dumb? Ill have to think about how Im spending my RL time then....
