I dont think it's too easy. I'm really enjoying going up TKA though, it's been the most enjoyable thing ive done, and it's taken me a while as i'm only 1 1 3.5 2.5

Best Class IMO

Don't tell me TKA is too easy. This is the first proffession I actually felt I was grinding... But every box I feel a surge of joy and accomplishment at my new abilities.

Once again people crying because a profession got fixed and the others aren't. Give it a time and the others will come along. Once their all fixed the powergamers will "beat" the game with ease and move on.

I had fun with TKA, of course I did this back when TKA wasn't too powerful at all. Once it got fixed and I soloed my first piket, I knew it was fixed. ^^

I spend August, September, and October mastering TKA. And I enjoyed it. I had to evade fights with armored targets and ranged opponents. I note people always cry about the dizzy/kd attack, but never mention that even an NPC can deal 500 to 800 points damage to a melee player before they get in range to DO a dizzy/kd attack. This just shows the complaining party only wants their profession to be "better" than the TKA profession.

TKA is FINE. I'm moving on to another profession but I will say the TKA profession as it is is fine. If you get killed by a TKM, its your own fault and not the systems.

Dude pretty much every pure combat proffesion is easy to master the only exceptions i could think of would be BH (but BH is bottom heavy with the prerequisites, the actual BH tree is a breeze with the excption of investigation but then again investigation isnt so much combat as it is tracking marks) and possibly rifleman, I've never been one but theirs so many riflemen complaing its such a grind their may be something to it.But ya other then those two prfoessions any combat class can be easily mastered with the help of buffs and food and armor and knowing the right places to hunt.

lack of edit button:

To the original poster. The lunge dizzy is a attack that rarely works. Most profession have defense against it. Pistoleers I have fought require 5 to 10 KD2's to land one. Usually its better just to attack and pray.

TKA had pool targeting attacks, yes. But only a FIRST LEVEL attack.

TKA- headhit1, leghit2, bodyhit1

Fencer - bodyhit1, bodyhit2, bodyhit3

Swordie - headhit1, headhit2, headhit3

Polearm - leghit1, leghit2, leghit3

Higher level attacks to expontentially more damage. I know this because I HAVE headhit1-3 in swordsman.

Our healing most be down outside battle. We cannot meditate while: In combat, stunned, dizzy, berserk, or blind. Limiting the ability to heal states like bleeding, poison, diease, and wounds to ONLY outside of combat.

As for your assumption that the other classes do not "rock" with buffs. Thats wrong. ANY profession with doctor buffs is lethal.

The point you COMPLETELY IGNORED and which PROVES you just sat and afk grinded on low level npc agros. Is you didn't even MENTION the lack of armor piercing. Wanna come back with the "BUT VK R HVE AP1?!?!" Do so. But I'll ask to you quote the usage of HAM on making a 10 second prolonged attack on a player, and the damage done.

TKA's weakness is the lack of armor piercing. And to get even light armor piercing requires high HAM costs per time of attack.

Reading this post makes me think you never actually fought different types of enemies as a TKM. You just fought things people told you to. TKM vs Giant Sand Beetle. You'll lose. Now if you wanna run around town shouting for a buff, thats fine. But I can take one down already with 0/3/1/3 swordsman, with no buffs.

Professions have strengths and weakness's Some are front line attacks others are more strategic. You need to learn this.

TKA has been great for me to work on. The only MAJOR problem with the class is all the **edit** cry babies! It is a game, nothing is fair or balanced in life or video games. IT NEVER WILL BE. %^#^%$&^ !!!

lol....the most complicated macro i even have is an armor equip/un-equip one. i did most of my unarmed -novice TKA leveling while i was there, usually doing desert eeopie missions or syck missions. personally, i despise any one thats AFK and getting xp, whether it be entertainers or combat professions.

I know all about this AP issue, but hte fact is that i dont see much of a difference in it. i was using 1.2 VK's from novice brawler to novice TKA, then i switched to 1.6 speed 190 dmg VK's. alomst all of hte leveling iv done thus far has been against Tuskens at their fort. when i was novice TKA i could barely take a raider, now i can easily solo chiefs, warlords, and any of hte special tuskens(the special tuskens are much easier to KD/dizzy than chiefs or warlords). Im also a master rifleman, so i know all about this AP issue. i use an AP3 weapon all the time, and i have yet to notice any sort of significant difference in damage dealed. personally, i dont plan on taking the battle to a krayt or any other AR3 creature with VK's, thats pretty much suicide anyways. I dont see how TKA will ever be a truly effective tank when it was said that no one should be able to solo red con mobs.

im not quite sure what your talking about a 10 second delay (maybe unarmed 3? i havent tested it out yet, but i hear unarmed2is better), but i use low speed VK's. iv only gotten doc buff's once in my leveling, at all other times i powerboost, use comp armor, and a tatooine sunburn/ryshcate, and the HAM costs go down to 45 action(my action secondaries are both at 400). if i want to lower the action cost to 15, i just eat another ryshcate. so thus far, i can literally spam KD/dizzy/unarmed2 all i want and it wont be of much significance, and iv never had a delay of over 2 seconds thus far. as i said just before, i have yet to test hte unarmed3 attack and KD2 attack.

TKA is easy to master, but so are most proffesion given that you have the knoladge of how to do it, and the supplies. TKA is just a little easier....+56 toughness *cough**cough*

My vision for TKAs....
