Ok, time to resubmit our top 5 issues. Please do let me know your list (in order if possible) of the top 5 things that you as a Teras Kasi would like to see fixed/changed/implemented. Where possible, bugs should be long term issues, but do remember that much is going to be changed with the new upcoming Combat revamp.


Thecurrent top five that have been resubmitted for now are:


1. Defensive Acuity / Center of Being: seem to do nothing / very little.


2. Force of Will: Please reduce the timer, 1 hour is just too long.


3. Ineffective Specials: Combo 1 and 2 (spreads damage across all pools) are pointless to a profession that can target single pools.


4. Limited Damage types: Currently restricted to Kinetic damage. With so many NPCs (and armour)having high or in some cases total resistence to Kinetic, an alternative would help. Suggested as a 'fix' for combo 1 and 2.


5. Bug - Double Knockdown: Using KD on the same opponent twice leads to opponent immediately standing (even if dizzy).


Remember, do submit your ideas even if they have already been stated.

The only issue I have other than the five mentioned above is the current Meditation stance. I don't know if this is a bug or a designed new change. In either regard; the general consensus is that we liked the old stance better.

I wouldn't see #5 as an issue or bug at all. Its to prevent people from just spamming KD2 on someone not only until it sticks but well beyond, making sure they could NEVER stand. It's bad enough how powerful KD is, but make it so you can just spam it insanely? how silly is that?

Actually, I do see your point... It certainly makes me more careful about using Knockdowns. I do think some kind of clarification about whether it is a bug, or working as intended could be useful however. If people dont want this question asked, or it gets an answer, I'll happily remove it anyway


On the subject of Meditation animations, I'm raising this as an ad-hoc thread in the correspondent forum anyway.

Tell them to get rid of or reduce effects od Dizzy to 5-10 seconds so everyone will stop crying nerf. Add a /stick command so if we have high terrain negotiation it means we can keep up and hit our target while on the move.

Kinetic damage is what we have. It's the only thing that makes sense for an unarmed combat profession. If you want other damage types then other classes should have the ability to alter current vks.


In one instance you can have a smuggler slice a vk for some kind of electrical output. You basically have a live wire in your hand. HAM use should be high just for that fact alone.

I agree that kinetic damage andAP 1 is all we should have. That is our weakness. Limit us to kinetic and AP 1 and we are justified in being much stronger in everything else.

I couldn't agree more with those of you who've suggest limiting us to kinetic. We're extremely effective as is, and it is vital that we have weaknesses like kinetic and AP1.

I agree about the kinetic issue up to a certain point... but it does also make some enemies all but invulnerable to us.

How about an alternative damage type (as already suggested), but have it significantly less effective in terms of damage? That way it is only appropriate and worthwhile using it against creatures wit extremely high kinetic defense.

It doesn't make us any more uber, but it does make some opponents potentially beatable.

i personally think we should be able to meditate during certain states like blind.

I think a #6 should be capping Teras Kasi's, there r way to many of them, and they dont even care aboutwhat makes Teras Kasi so special. Too many TK's nuff said, and maybe thier should be a top 10 to be more realistic, but u put down Just about the most important things there.
