Thread: exile002 your smokin crack my freind
hehe..
I went to dath, I had a gurreck. I buffed him to a near 10k ham.
Those Baz thangs aggro as a group and pack attack. I had no hope. I ran ran ran, my pet died. I tried 3 times. I tried pulling one etc.. it was very hard.
Then I went with some guys who were near the starport. They all died, then again i waited for another smaller group. They all died. I went home.
I think you may have grabbed Greater Baz Natch b/c I was on dath yesterday before he posted and me and my pet gsp and 1 friend were doing Mutant Baz Natch no problem. They do agg but if you let pet hold agg on 1 and you and a friend duo the other they go down fast.
it was me by myself and 3 of them killedm y pet. They are all very close to one another. I have no idea how to pull as a brawler. You send the pet in anything near it attacks.
IT SUCKED IT SUCKED IT SUCKED. I wasted a whole night ;(
waaaaaay off subject, but i just had to say...
starfire, i love your sig ![]()
I have already posted on how to solo pull social mobs and this can be done with Mutant Baz's:
1. Target the closes one to you and get it to 64m
2. Target the next closest making sure it is >64m away
3. Attack
Now obviously you don't have a 64m reach so you will get the message "Target is out of range" but the closest mob ( i.e. the one at 64m ) will come to you solo.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nice!
You boys and your numbers ![]()
I am not trying to like put down his newbie post, i thought it rocked, it just failed misrably for me ![]()
Starphire,
It's not exile002's fault. Giant Baz Nitches AND Mutant Baz nitches can be soloed (even without a pet) by any Tka. If you can't get it done, it's fault on your part not his.
This is what you do:
grab one of the baz nitch's mission (actually, this works on ALL social & aggro mob lairs).
When you arrive at the baz lair, look around and usually you will find 3 ~ 4 bazs roaming around.
target the one that is Closest to you and look at the distance apart from you.
target the second closest to you and look at th edistance apart from you.
Make sure the distance cloest to you and second closest to you is at least 2m apart.
If they're not, circle around the lair until the condition is met.
if the condition is met, walk a straight line towards the closest baz, approach it until it is 15 m from you (this is the aggro radius for Baz).
Once within 15M range, stay put for a second or so and the baz will aggro on you. You will then run back and engage the baz one on one.
Couple of things to remember:
1. do not initiate combat, wait until the baz aggro on you. If you initiate combat, the baz WILL bring a friend.
2. do not use pet to attack. Tell you pet to stay at least 40 M from the closest baz, the key is for you to run within the 15 m aggro radius and pull a single baz back to the location of the pet for it to tank the baz.
3. intimindate and intimindate2 areyour friend. Baz hits pretty hard and once you've engaged the first baz and you've started running back to the location of your pet, you want to try to stick on an intimindate as soon as you clear the 20m Bring-A-Friend raidus (basically this is the radius in which you attacking a baz will result in a second baz coming to its aid as long as the second baz is withing 20m of the baz you're attacking)
Reguardless what was said it right. The animals in SWG are not like the plug and chug ones your used to in EQ. These things are realistic. Some kinds will help each other. Some are like lions in that only the females will defend the others, some just freaking pack hunt like narglatches, and some are solo hunters like naboo's Plains Hunter. Each kind of animal requires knowledge about that animal to effective take down the lair.
They aren't all like kreetle and chuba lairs XD
um i think your being a little like.. jerky to tell me its all my fault. Its no one fault thats kinds stupid.
I am just letting him know an admitly dumb newb to TKA like myself, reading those directions he gave may not do well. it wasn't detailed enough because they "bring a freind". I apprehciate the math etc and reccmendations.
and I never played EQ I dont play video games cept this one and I do pretty dang good considering (cause i do research on the boards). I know I don't know enough to PVP i dont even try. I am just trying to lvl up at a decent rate. I find lvl'in up fun anways, it's a challange.
I went to dath, I had a gurreck. I buffed him to a near 10k ham.
doesn't the gurreck have 10000+ ham at default? <3
