I am not trying to be offensive. But if you read my directions again, you will see that

Giant Baz Nitches and Mutant Baz Nitches are:

  • social mobs (which means that they will bring a friend or two once being attacked)

  • aggressive mobs (which means that they will attack withint a set aggro radius)

The way to deal with these types of aggro BAF mobs is to do what I tried to explain on my last post. If you follow the directions described, you will able to lure ONE baz nitches out of the lair and deal with it on a one to one situation.

doesn't the gurreck have 10000+ ham at default? <3

I think she probaly met a Cowardly Gurreck they have like 3k ham.

If your a non ch and take a pet I say get yourself a rock beetle and buff that if you buff anything, with armor 1 those babies are incrediblyl tough.

Starphire I was a little enraged when I read the title to this thread. (Try picking them in a nice way or you might just agro yourself an Exile that no pet can help you with =) but reading all of the posts that were there backing up my guide I am fine now =) Thanks fellas.

The last guy made a point -- you probably had a cowardly gurreck -- and I would just like to note that I do not recommand Cowardly Gurrecks because they don't have the same armor rating as a Rock Beetle. That's why I suggested, the Rock Beetle. You don't necessarily have to buff him -- cuz he's going to die occasionaly, but I'm telling you.. you can hold off about 2-3 mutants without him dieing on you, he will require a nice heal.

It takes time sweetie (god i hope you're a girl) and you will sooner or later master it.. I wasn't good at it until I beat the last lair before I made TKM -- that's why I made my guide. I know you need to learn it on your own, but I have a soft heart.

Karlithas I'd like you to post your agro tip on my thread so the people visiting can see it there incase they have the same problem. I don't want to see anymore of these "exile your smokin crack" my crack addiction does not need to be brought to the publics attention -- thank you.

NO hard feelings StarPhire.

This is what you do:

grab one of the baz nitch's mission (actually, this works on ALL social & aggro mob lairs).

When you arrive at the baz lair, look around and usually you will find 3 ~ 4 bazs roaming around.

target the one that is Closest to you and look at the distance apart from you.

target the second closest to you and look at th edistance apart from you.

Make sure the distance cloest to you and second closest to you is at least 2m apart.

If they're not, circle around the lair until the condition is met.

if the condition is met, walk a straight line towards the closest baz, approach it until it is 15 m from you (this is the aggro radius for Baz).

Once within 15M range, stay put for a second or so and the baz will aggro on you. You will then run back and engage the baz one on one.

This is indeed the way to do it. This will in fact work on most aggro mobs though I can't get it to work well on non-aggros. The other method (attack mob >64m away to get mob <64m away to aggro) is an exploit of an AI bug.

are you talking about the number right next to your monsters that jump up and down? that's your accuracy modifier. depending on waht ya use, it should have an ideal range to be perfectly accurate.

It takes practice. I've done it with and without a pet (a mighty mountain krevol). Try practicing in a place like Yavin where there are aggro lairs very close to the outpost. Take advantage of the fact there is no real death penalty yet.

Once you get proficient then head back to Dathomir and nitch slap those bazes.

The key is to be daring enough to walk to a bunch of red dots on the radar so close. You'd amazed on how small of aggro radius on alot of mobs.

Seriously, giant baz nitches are the easiest way to go up TKA if you're soloing. They're 10K ham mobs with relativesly LOW resist and no special attacks. They do not stun/intimindate/blind/poison and they do not have an insanely high armor or kinetic resist, althought they do deathblow Always, it's realtive safe.

I don't know if the single pull method is an exploit or not or an intentional bless for the melee class by the dev, but if you can get that technique down, you'd be saying: "I can't believe I just soloed a 10K ham mob without any help".

Don't give up, you will get it sooner or later. I died alot first when I tried to solo giant baz nitches and it could get frustrating. Now I can't remember the last time I died to baz's.
