You most certainly can wear any armor you want. It just negates the Innate armor a TK gets - they don't stack. One piece of armor negates all the Innate armor.

What you mean with "Innate armor" ?
Is that a spell that gives me armor? My gf TKA get down very easy and fast versus lower levl mobs

So we get a benefit because we can use Bio Clothes with Melee/Ranged defence 16, instead of armor and get a better defence ?
How do we turn on this armor ?
How good is it ?
Sorry to ask such n00b questions, I did a /Respec a week ago.

The Innate armour is something that is always active as long as you are not wearing any other armour. It gives an armour value of 6k (the same as battle armour). Theres a section on Innate armour in the old FAQ thats still stickied (new one coming when I can get the last section done) & I'd recomend you have a little read of that.
Keep in mind that theres a fair chance you get taken down quick as you simply might not be used to the game since the CU, it can take time to get used to how combat works now.
Oh & to the person that asked about armour boots. These still (last time I checked) turned off Innate armour since they require an armour cert to wear, though they offer no protection they are still armour.

^ wrong. I tested this myself yesterday, armor boots, gloves still disable your TKIA, whether they're supposed to or not.
