Just thought'd I'd ask 
I personally think that fencer has an edge in pvp, but TK is second only to swordsman in pve..

if we're talking only TK and Fencer skills (meaning no dabbling for defenses, dots, etc) the fencer will be taking a trip to the cloners

Plain tk vs fencer TK wins with more states to stick, better kd, more toughness, and an AP 1 weapon. Not to mention if the fencer doesn't have a multi-million credit stun baton the damage on you if you have stun armor will suck.

I really think that TK is a rare profession in which the weapon really doesn't determine how good you are.. I mean.. how many people use a normal ho-hum VK in pvp? Now in most other cases, the weapon determines how good you are, because if you buy a ho-hum scatter off of Joesmho's weapon vendor, you're going to be obliterated.

Just TKM and Master Fencer, the TKM will win. That's because a fencer's damage sucks. Even a 465 damage stun baton is inferior, a TKM with a 200 damage VK is doing around 450 max. Now factor that the stun baton will have a much lower minimum damage, which sucks since both combatants have Melee Mitigation 3, and the stun baton is AP0 vs an AP1 VK, the VK will be doing a lot more damage. Then factor in the unarmed toughness of the TKM and the fencer better pray that he can dodge a lot.

aye, tkm would beat a fencer hands down. i don't think ive ever lost to a fencer actually

Which is better to combine w/ Master Swords? Master Fencer or TKM?

i know this is going to sound odd after all the TKM beats Fencer posts, but you are better off adding the defeses from Fencer to Swordsman. the unarmed toughness from TK will do you no good at all. the damage output from swordsmand is greater than that of TK, so add fencer for the defenses and you will have a mighty strong template

I agree with Neo. For defense nothing beats fencer skills. Really the only thing in TKA that would be of interest to a dabbler is meditation. Well, some of the ranged/melee defenses are nice too I guess.

agree with two above, fencer isn't something you want to use in a duel... or master... but they have the best by far of defenses

nope i dont agree , when fencer had the Scatter hit bug they were lethel , but now tkm can easy beat them , yes they have good defences , but as a TKM commando , once swordman tkm fencer , i can easy beat a fencer in pvp , and have not lost to one in a good while , Stun armour is great by the way , but fnecer is good if peep know the profession but so is TKM , but i think we are pretty much even in PVP at the moment
