The difference between TKA Novice and Unarmed IV is huge! So, all those people struggling through unamred. Just do it however you can cause when you get Novice the world is a much happier place.

I was hitting for 230 (Unarmed1) and now I hit for over 600 (Unarmed2).

Meditate looks cool also.

Welcome to the beginning of actually having fun in SWG. TK is the funnest profession out there. If you think Meditating looks cool, you should see /unarmedSpinattack2! It's like backfist, outer crescent kick, jump 360 outer crescent to a low leg sweep. (Best TaeKwonDo equivelant I could think of.. I'm in TKD as well ) Glad you are having fun! I know I am!!

I mean /unarmedCombo2, not spin2. Spin2 looks cool too, but I described the coolest, combo2.

Glad to hear it Viz, I am getting closer to novice myself now, about another 15k to go, might manage it tonight. It is such a fun prof to play after I got pretty bored with pistoleer, I think I'm sticking with TKA.

Congrats bro..wait till you hit MASTER..its will change the way you look at things..up close i feel like i can take anybody on..it ROCKS!

Yeah, TKA is way too much fun... I my favorate part about it is, no weapons or armor are required

Also, I feel it's the next best thing to jedi.. which i'm not working towards.

Nothing looks funnier than our KD on a ravenous torton, or anything really huge. Shoulder to its toe, and over it goes

Man, I shocked! There are ppls who like TKA. Reading this forum I sometimes get the impression that only whiney grinders "play" this class.

I was mostly a crafter but thought running away from kreetles was beneath a proud Trandorshan. I didn't want to deal with weapons so I picked up unarmed. Later I thought becoming a drug dealer would be cool. So I killed many, many Jabba's Thugs and got Unarmed 4 [And Pistols ]. A few boxes into Smuggler I decided it was not that fun for me and I went back to making wall segments. A couple weeks ago I joined the Rebellion and decided that I needed to finish my long delayed goal of trying TKA.

Now, I'm really excited about TKA Master. No rush to get there, the mobs aren't going anywhere. I'll enjoy myself along the way.

Okay, okay! I admit it.

I am 112K/125K away from novice TK andI am only doing this because the holocron told me to Master Tera Kasi.

But ever since I first saw a Tera Kasi Master when I joined this galaxy over a month ago, I had always wanted to be one, but never found myself to actually attempt it.

I gave up commando (so I already had the unarmed done) and plus I have 170K combat xp saved up right now, so I can get 0/0/0/2 right away. I hope you're right about the difference from unarmed and tk novice. But I'm just happy I will finally be able to use my VK effectively.

32K away from TKN myself. So close. Having fun even at unarmed 4, but 2 nights ago I grouped with a novice, saw the difference first hand. Looking forward to it.

Well I just hit novice today.......WOW!

I was using blind and stun on vynocks and taking them down in a few stuns (grinding to novice)thenI hit novice, equipped my shiny new vibro knucklers went to do another vynock destroy mission and......... they went down in one hit!

Now I have to find some harder cons and see what I can take on, I must say it is the most fun I have had since I first opened the Collectors Edition box. It may take me a while to reach master (I'm a lazy SOB) but I intend to get there one day.

You think that looks sweet? Should see me in action, have a nice macro that runs about 15 specials in a row...when lag isn't killing the animations, it looks d a m n sweet I tell ya.

i agree, i HATED unarmed 3 and 4 but once i hit TKA novice a whole new world opened up. get some buffs and your pretty much invincible, even at novice! i get myself in trouble a lot because i have no fear anymore haha just run right up and knock them down, hit warcry and spam UAH2 for 1800points a shot lol mountain squills now use mask scent on themselves to avoid me!
