Thread: hmm thought TKM was going be the business

OK guys what am I doing wrong if I use unarmedhit3 i cause 1800 to 2200 points of damage everyone around me is causing up to 3500 point of damage
I have a VK 2.2 speed 47min 192 max 38%
pls help

Question. Are these people doing more damage than you also TKs?

Question. Are these people doing more damage than you also TKs?
Not just that, but if they aren't TKA's, what damage type weapon are they using?
Members of my groups are always peaved because they think they're outdamaging my Master TKA, but I still get the lion's share of xp.

Im taking it they're not TKAs. In no way can a TKA outdamage another TKA by that much, unless one has no VK, going up against a AP1/2/3 Mob, and the other TKA has some - sort of Legendary VK.
If you want damage, Swordsman and Pike will do better.

We'll assume this:
TKM/MBrawler with Normal unsliced Knuckler and a Swordsman/Mbrawler with unsliced Power Hammer Against an unarmored no resist creature
Power Hammer: Speed 5.4 damage 135-465 AP2 (accuracy sucks majorly also, but we'll assume every attack hits)
Vibro Knuckler: Speed 2.2 Damage 37-146 AP1
Both using the Master strike Hit 3: Swordsman 1569-5406 damage every 3.5 seconds. Teras Kasi: 2669-3683 damage every 1.0 seconds.
Average damage per second : Swordsman 1993 Teras Kasi 3176
Even speed slicing the power hammer drops it to 4.4 speed, and now you swing every 2.9 seconds...not enough still.
TKMs also have a LOT better accuracy...we basically never miss. Also, we have a better Minimum damage, meaning our WORST damage is still better than their BEST damage per second.
The only way other classes can beat us is with looted weapons, custom crafter weapons with looted pieces and/or skill tapes for additional speed.

Unarmoured, no resist? How often does that happen.
Many Swordsmen are speedcapped, so DPS drops to 1k for TKA, and 2 - 3.5k for Swordsman (approx.) when you hit AP1, go on up, and it gets real ugly.

Remember at TKM your also hitting ALOT faster then those guys (they do 3500 damage every 3 sec your doing 2200 every sec).

I doubt they are hitting faster then you..unless they did the force sensative melee speed quest.
BUT then again i could be wrong.
