I dont know about the rest of you, but i have stopped PvP completely. Witht he new restrictions on missions terms and the completely ridiculous 5% decay if you dont insure, I have stopped it altogether.

Just throw all your stuff in your safety deposit box that will decay, and you get the added bonus of going streaking while PvPing! Or you can do what someone suggested on the Kauri boards is store everything on your droids' storage compartment.

I both like and dislike the new decay system. I like the fact that there's a death penalty, and I like the fact that it causes items to decay. I dislike when it happens to me. At the moment, I don't PvP because my computer can't handle anything bigger than a small fight. Apparently, the SWG servers suffer from the same problem. Seriously, though, I'm waiting for some more interesting incentives to get out an PvP more often - running around and killing folks for fun is well, totally fun, but not worth suffering through lag and bugs.

I'm not sure whats wrong with putting your armor in the bank, are you saying that its not worth the money you spent on it to just sit in the bank?

Yes, more often than not, sooner or later your gonna die while PvPing. An above poster suggested putting all items in the bank so they dont decay but in PvP why would u want to put armor in the bank or even your weapons?

The new decay system has converted me to PvE only. I wouldrisk the DB trying to get xprather than getting30 faction points.

The penalty for death should be something like your stats being lowered for 15 minutes (and unbuffable). It's enough to make you not want to get killed but it's not a game breaker like decay is. I don't PvP at all after the patch either. It's just too costly.
