TKM
Master Pistoleer
Fencer 4400
Novice medic
I was watching the skills in SWG and came to that this had to be the best template for PvP and good for PvE
This way you get TKM for a good melee profession, with states and you all know the good and bad things with TKM, but then you get insane ammounts of defence...
Defence:
Blind 50
Dizzy 45
KD 120
Posture change down 100
Stun 55
Melee defence 125 (well it is really 176 but it caps at 125 without skilltapesand 150 with skilltapes)
Ranged defence 121 (almost at cap)
Dodge 125 (capped)
you also get both melee and ranged dammage mitigation 3
This makes you almost impossible to get down, the dizzy defence aint that high but it is almost impossible to KD or Posture change down you, so whenever youre fighting you wont be lieing on the ground (and thats where i usually lose with TKM).
Youre also get some medic which will make you able to use stim Bs and heal for about 500-800 on both health and action if its needed.
Whenever you need to use pistols you will have capped dodge and even riflemen will have troubles hitting you.

with this you would have 3 skill points remaining which you would have to place somewhere on the medic tree, which skill is up to you

My template is a little different, I have forsaken the medic skills and gone for :
Master SMuggler
Master Pistols
Master TKA
Not too worried about healing, but then I think this is better suited to PVE rather than the template above which i think is more PVP orientated ?

I have a friend that uses this in pvp and the feign helps him alot lol but he can do some great damage with his geno spamming last ditch lol

t'luassa i think i saw u yesterday in coro, i was the dude spazzin out lol. i got some friends who was gona return to imp but theyre scared of AOW lol

It is still possible. You're still very succeptable to Dizzy. If a Fencer (or anyone) rolls up on you with Lunge2 (Or Jedi and their FKD2), you'll be on your back, flopping. That entire stack for nothing. You're still succeptable to all states, only way you'd have a chance.. would be tokite me. BUT, if I blinded you while you ran away, you wouldn't hit me. So whatmakes thistemplate the best?It looks like fun, but the best? Maybe for your play style.

I am working ona template currently...alomst there just need the brawler...
Master Brawler/ MAster TK/ Fencer 4240/ Pistols 0040/ and Pikeman 0030
this gives me
+146 melee Def
+126 Ranged def
+ 100 Blind
+95 Dizzy
+20 intiomidate
+100 KD
+80 osture change
+65 stun
I will use a mind fire proc weapon to start then switch to tk for the win...
thoughts?

This template isn't the best, because it omits master brawler which is vital to a TKM. No intimidate2, no lunge2, heck even warcry2 is pretty cool in PvE.

Master brawler isnt vital to TKM. Im not master brawler and I do very well. So far, my template provides me with much better defences then any of the ones mentioned here.
Why does everyone think warcry sucks? lol It can be very handy in PVP.

Warcry sucks because as soon as any kind of damage is done to that person, it goes away. Maybe if you're by yourself and a few people all gang up on you it can help, but if I warcry a few people in most PvP fights I get in, they wouldn't be frozen for more than a second before some attack or DOT breaks it.
I can't imagine TK without having a 20m triple damage knockdown attack. I use that so much... That and intimidate2 which seems to last forever against a non-doc (and remember, pretty much nobody has a good resistance to it).
