Can we tank against a SBD? Or anything else in DWB and the Vette?

Last time doing dwb had no prob tanking two sbds....80/80 armor, doc/musican/dancer buffs, 2x brandy + 2x ashira, synthisteak(-43% damage), master brawler/tka(+62 toughness)....from time to time i droped an enhanced stim "e" on me.....

Nice, are the mind buffs needed? And im goin for a Pistoleer/TKM , so i should just bring a doc w me

You can tank fine as long as you have no problem with doing no damage to them. 
I'd take off the VK since you'll just be wasting its condition, keep taunting them, and make sure you get good healing support from someone.
Myself, I stay back and use my pistol. I hate not doing damage.

the musician and dancer buffs aren't necessary but take some canape if your mind seems to get low, and yea... tka needs something besides kinetic, we can tank them but we don't do any damage to them sadly...

Armor vs. Stun exists. The cap on that is 40%. And Swordsman is your best bet in the DWB. They have kinetic plus an insanely high damage blast Power Hammer.

That is not what he was asking, he was asking if the SBDs had any stun resists (odd way of asking his question) and yes they do.

Here is what i did :
80/80 armor.
Full buffs inc dancer/music
Krayt Flamethrower
DOT the SBD. go TKA when you need to heal. when that SBD drops with 70% wounds to its health you know you did your job

P_day, how long time does that take you?
How many SBD can you handle that way? And can you handle them alone or do you need support from riflemen or doctors ?

Usually takes about 15 minutes, depending on if i have support from said riflemen or doctors, if i have to heal myself, it tends to take longer since i have to deal with heal delays and so on. If i have support from a few riflemen they go down in 5 minutes or less, with a CM or doc healing they are pretty easy to tank, also depends on how many you take on at once since they pack a mean punch and intimidate does not work on them as far as i know.
A jedi is also a great thing to bring since they can hit for 3 - 4k damage every second with the vuln to LS

Myself (TK Master is my only combat profession)and My roommate (Master Swordsman/Master Doctor) took out one DWB Super Battle Droid all by ourselves. It took us 40-60 minutes to finish him off along with LOTS of stims. We knew we'd get no loot, and both were capped on XP, so we just killed the SBD just to prove that we could.

Oh the days! I remember before the weapon switch delay it was possible bo solo a SBD with a TKM/Master Commando Temp. I really enjoy the DWB, landing good Dots then just letting em' burn......takes a while though. Anybody got a good WP for Black Sun?
