I get people who say that doing dizzy/KD is an exploit and that I'm some sort of bad person for ever using it. I only get this from people I've actully used it on or if I ever kill any faction troops that someone owns yet when I talk to any TKM there like yea it's awsome and everything. Should I feel bad about using it? What sort of things would you reply to someone who argues that?

No, it is not. You shouldn't feel bad for using it, afterall most professions have status changing attacks as well as Knockdown. Considering they al get defenses versus KD, dizzy, blind, stun, etc.... I don't see a problem.

When a npc kd's and dizzies me, I sure as heck can't get up for a while.

It's not an exploit, but I'll bet it's going to get nerfed anyway, because somebody already started a whine thread about it in the discussion forum.

Believe it or not, I got jumped by 6 Lord Nyax's buddies and 2 conned white, the others conned blue, but my armor is 74% Ubese Kinetic, they were all using blasters. So I tried this 'so called exploit' with a pet, (but I always get the aggro, because it's a GSP and I usually outdamage it) and ended up in the cloning center.

Yes, I know.....but I never had a chance to Powerboost, it was a destroy mission and when I got there, there was NOTHING there, I stupidly kept walking towards the waypoint and they all popped and all aggroed on me.

I bet that doesn't happen again

Q-lex asked the question wrong. I caught him KD'ing/Dizzying Rebel Faction NPCs and goes around and drops them all on their back, they stay down the entire fight and NEVER stand back up, in fact some of the rebel troopers near this area he was killing NPCs have had 2 Rebel troopers on their back for 7 hours now.

WHat I told him he was doing was wrong becasue after the Dizzy wears off, the trooper will never stand back up because the AI is too stupipd to do it. After he chased a trooper and killed it, he came back to a couple that he got earlier and they were still ontheir backs, they stay perma KD'd.

Since the troopers won't ever stand back up, this is a game bug and anyone who utilizes this game bug and knows it, is then exploiting the system.

Kd/dizzy is not an exploit (at least in pvp).Every melee proffesion has it and some range proffesionhas kd.Every combat class has defense vs kd or dizzy.Every range run away from u.If udont catch upand/or have the "out of range" bug then your dead.If you catch up then you can do a kd/dizzy and its totally fair.If a tk catch up his praie then the guy is dead.

in game it's mon-neoracle

So what arey you supposed to do, abort the mission, and forfeit the reward, just because the NPCs are bugged? Get serious.

PwyllTwiceborn, you STILL haven't said what class you play.

I also said that I killed every trooper I KD'd, none of them had been on the ground for more then a few mins, definitly far from 7 hours. From what I understand being sorta new to TKA was that all things at one point stood back up that is why I never leave anything KD'd, I'm alsonot from the first TKA that has passed by your base and attacked whatever troopers which would explain why there are troopers KD'd there before I got there. If you KD abunch of NPC's and they have only been down a few mins is that an exploit??? 7 hours probably but not the length of time I got the ones I killed.

(should've added to previous post)

If you still stand by this try TKA out and see both sides of the story, I understand that when troops are KD'd but not dead they won't regenerate and that's why I always finish the job. It's possibleto KD a few guys but get killed by other troopers and then after you clone decide not to run all the way back. When I was attacking them I had a hell of a time with them as they all tryed to kite me and being a TKA + Doc combo it's impossible to range them (a CDEF just doesn't cut it) and even when I catch up to them it says I'm out of range then they run and stop again, the only way I was able to catch them was using the nearby buildings to my advantage.

That may be true. The fact is the troopers are SUPPOSED to go down, and they are SUPPOSED to stay down... but not indefinitely. So, if you knock them down, dizzy them, and then kill them, that is ok. If you knock them down, dizzy them, go for lunch, go to work, go to the Dominican for a vacation and come back, that would be an exploit.

However, normal use of KD/Dizzy is not an exploit, and Twiceborn didn't think his comment through.

I'd like to know if you actually watched them stay on their backs for 7 hours. Who said someone couldn't come by and KD them also?
