Next time you've got some free time, run over to the Jedi boards, it's hilarious to see all the posts whining about TKM's. They all say that no TKM should be able to solo a Jedi, and that there is no TK order, and that TK's were never intended to be Jedi killers, or to keep Jedi in check.
They're also wanting perma buffs, starports in their enclaves, more HAM, and lord knows what else.
In my opinion, it's always the most arrogant people who unlock Jedi, then procede to whine about every little short coming of the profession.
They all want to be unstopable in PvP. They fail to realize, that they cannot unbalance the game by doing that. I can see what would happen, you'd end up with a group of Jedi who would run around killing everything in sight, making the game boring to play. There would undoubtably be a few Jedi who would also farm the new players. As funny as that sounds, it's not very fun being killed repeatedly on your first time playing a game.
One last note, the Jedi populus never seems to be happy about any single change the devs make. They always want things their way, immediately. I've been nerfed plenty of times, but you don't see me complaining about it. I enjoy the game for what it still has, not loathe it for what it's lost.

jedi's where never uber , not even in the movies (look at obi-wan who got his ass kicked by bobba fet in attack of the clones 
on that clone planet thingy ), alltho this is my opinion , and as far as Teras Kasi goes , i can only say to the jedi's complaing (not the ones who don't however they may give it a shot to )read thebooks to really know whatTeras Kasi is

it is the simple fact that jedi fear us....no more and no less, they are afraid of us cuz we can open a can of whooop ass all over them in pvp..and they are hatin it

No disrespect ArcaJeth, but do you have a jedi? It's a shame when it takes a person at Knight level to play hours upon hours upon hours to get to that level, and a Profession that takes2 days to Master has any type of chance to take him on. If people in here are posting about jedi whining and have a jedi toon, than by all means, HATE. But if you don't know what it is like, there are many valid points in those forums. My Main is a TKM/Rifleman, so I want major love for both professions. (TKM and Jedi)Well, like I stated, no disrespect to you or the people posting in here.I wish you the best and Good Luck.

Knight may take a while, and you may be weak getting there but so far it is fairly well known that a Jedi with Master Lighsaber, Master Defense, Healing 4/0/0/4 is unkillable by ANY class solo. People in my PA have Jedis on TC and know this from combat expirience.
I might be able to grind TKM in two days but I'll never get to that level of combat.

I could care less how long it takes you to grind a box. Ive been playing this game as long as you and just because you got the magical key playing a different way then me, doesnt mean you get to be all Mr special now does it?

The jedi have a valid point, TK can be trained from novice in no time at all, becoming a jedi takes a long, long time, this is not to say that TK aren't "jedi watchers" in the SW lore but within the game it's so cheap (as in skill cred wise) that it should not be able to contend with a class which takes months to aquire, perhaps if the requirements for TK were a little higher I'd be more inclined to agree that TK should be given special Jedi combating powers. Perhaps the same amount of skill creds required for BH or something. /shrug

I've never done the jedi grind, so I probably just don't know the pain, but I'm not sure I agree with the "jedi takes forever to grind and should be way more powereful" sentiment.
I mean what about the TKMs, and for that mater pistoleers and pikemen and fencers etc., that have been masters for 10 months. These people likely have in excess of a billion xp that they will never see nor use. There are people who started 3 months ago and have jedi, why should they be so much more powerful than someone who mastered their proffesion 11 months ago, and still grind it out every day?

I said this in another thread jedi think they should be god because they wasted their lives killing rancors for 12hrs a day for 4 months straight and anythign less than total domination of everythign is unacceptable. I mean if I spent that much time killing some pixled creature over and over I'd want to be unstoppable also but I didn't waste my time and went master fencer/tka/brawler which took aobut a week. What they don't understand is balance and if SOE were to make jedis equal to god then they would see alot of lost subscriptions. Jedis should have never been playable characters biggest mistake it just gives people egos in a video game which is sad.

Well than, I guess it's too bad they didn't make all the professions brancheable. And if jedi is as powerful as your guildmates say......than good. If you want to be all powerful, get a jedi. /shrug
