What about a TKM chi hit to do 500 to 1k damage with focus damage from inside the opponet so no resist and armor will decrease its damage..recharge rate from 10 sec to 30 sec. TKM needs a special item to inpower the strike.

The strike will still be kin but with a twist. Just an idea taken from real fighters.

I think that's covered by the unarmed hit atacks.

How about at novice TKA we can fire AT-AT lasers out of our palms

As Seabear alluded to, pretty much all of our attacks are like that. Do you think a person could beat a rancor or a man in full armor to death with his bare hands without some kind of mystical power or Chi ability?

Can you say overpowered? we get a few Nerf cries now, but think about doing 300 damage in PvP regardless of armor every second

Overpowered? Hardly, although the timer seems rather low... a TKM fighting another TKM without armour.. then you got melee migation 3, intimidate and stun, you might end up with a whooping 40 - 80 damage a hit, spamming unarmed hit 3. If those factors are taken into the "Chi Hit", but armour is bypassed, it wouldn't be all that powerfull, say with the damage of an unarmed 3 hit, with say a 1 minute timer.

The days of over-powered TKM's have been over for a longtime in my opinion. We didn't get weaker what happened is other prof's like fencer, swordsman got some enhancements. Which they sorely needed BTW.


Unlike any other combat class we only have one possible damage type and very low AP. Every other combat prof can do at least 2 damage types. Also most of our state attacks are replicated in one way or the other for other melee classes. We get Force of Will and Meditate which is a nice bonus for us but not over powered really when you think about their actual usefulness.


As to the Chi attacks... well.... "Kaaaaaaa.... Meeeeeee..... Haaaaaa.....Meeeeee... HA!" LOL! Just kidding!


We could use an additional damage type. We don't need a NERF. I think the reason TK's haven't been making too much noise over the lack of a second damage type is because of the huge flurries of NERF attacks on us since launch.


We can only dodge so many bullets before they actually get us with the ol' NERF bat.

That's not entirely true. TKA was nerfed when they added a KD timer. Before the KD timer TKA was overpowered, it was insane. You could spam KD and your opponent couldn't do anything about it. Also, all melee professions were nerfed when they changed how Warcry worked. I think the nerfs were a good thing and were needed, but it's not accurate to say that TKA has never been nerfed and that they only got balanced when other professions were enhanced.

Too bad mitigation doesn't work to well against TKA's hmm?
