vegitaa, we gotta duel one day so i can test my tank temp properly againt another melee, and when u goin to host another melee tourny like the one u had a few months back? ill host one if u need me to

"This Emulator stuff is nothing more then a hobby for some really smart people. If someone can write an SWG emulatorthats any good, please apply for a job here. You also better know SQL pretty well and have an oracle database and a ton of other important stuff. SWGEmu is nothing more then a UI mod. Now if some genius ever pulled it off... well that would be another matter entirely. You seariously don't think we're worried about this do you?"

Heheheh.. soon as I go out, buy the boxed set, grind out the template... so hopefully soonish. I figure a few weeks to get it all up and going, just redecorated my guild hall too as a matter of fact so will be anxious to show that off!

I am a master swordsmen/TKM and love every minute of it. I am grinding in the village currently and love watching guys drop left and right with armor on. I wear no armor and carry my hammer everywhere. I cant remember the last time i died.

Well, being a Master TK, Master PK & DOC4xxx - IMO - is the purest sense of a tank...Pikeman weapons attack faster then Swordsman and theDPS is not that much of a difference, plus you get the additional defenses from the profession.

I've tried the following templates (All have Master TKA)

Master Doc - Swordmans/Pikeman (with various mixes of branches)

Master Swordsman/Pikeman Doc 4000 & 2002.

I've settled for TKM/Swordmaster/Doc4000, main because I solo and like to kill things quickly.

It may be my server but I've yet to find a polearm that gets close to any of the decent Powerhammers on my server.

I found that the doc 4000 gets me the best bacta fusion (dot heal) as well as a good heal and a quick low mind cost heal.

With this template in PvE I've yet to die, includes fighting 2 84 level NS, a group of 4 80 level Janata(sp?) and 7 78 critters (note 3 seperate fights)

Druarc Cristar (Zabrak on Intrepid)
Beta CH, pre-cu CH/Rifleman
pre NGE TKA/Swordman/Doctor/FS
post NGE Jedi
Mese Melar Intrepid - Weapons Dealer Retired
Druena Cristar Intrepid - Officer in training.

Well, not actually Vegitaa... LOL! I'm starting a second account. Mainly for the BARC and the extra lots. So I've decided to go back to my favorite prof in the game.

One question though....

Teras Kasi Master, Fencer, Swordsman or TKM, MBrawler, with a blend of Swordsman/Fencer/Pikeman?

I'm looking for the tank/damage dealer. I know Mankind has that uber groovey template thread so I'm heading there next. Just wondering what you folks think. (Hehehehe wonder how long it's gonna take without double-exp week... hehehe)

EDIT: For some reason I keep hearing the "Welcome Back Carter" themesong in my head...

Hmmm..... Interesting.... (ponders all the evil I can do with that template...)

I'll have to keep that in mind between now and friday when I go grab the boxset. But very very interesting indeed.
