Thread: Nightsister Killers!!! (OMG Im having fun again!)
Boy what a night of Gameplay! Me and a fellow Dragon went to Dathomir last night and pulled down a quick 100K of credits of the Kamuriths when my friend said "Lets go hunting".
Agreeing we took off into the unknown dark planet not knowing much about the creatures there except the Kamuriths. Well next thing I know we come across a Nightsister Ranger! My friend says "You wanna take her?" I say "Hell No!" You have to understand I knew nothing about the sisters except that they can be tough and in the books they had force powers and that scared me so naturally I wasd sceptical.
Well after being pressured by my friend who is lower in level than me I hit Powerboost and get pumped up. (Powerboost is so freaking awesome since they unerfed it!) Well After my stats got up to 1275 I say "Lets take the witch!"
Well we run up to her and to my surprise she start shooting a blaster at us! Well i gotta close the distance quick so I burst up to her and try 5 concesutive KD2s before she finally does down! (They must have some resistances against KD) So while she is down we debuff the crap out of her: Blind, Intimidate, Stun, Dizzy and a BLEED...I have no idea where that came from! Well she stuggles to het feet and starts tking the massive dammage from me so out if despiration I Equip my VKs and UAH2 her and her action drops significantly....well when I see that I hit Spam Leghit and her action starts running down like an Avalanche while my friend is still Spamming UAH2....she goes down!
I satnd there in awe at the power we have together....spit on the Nightsisters corpse and yell "Fall Before The Black Dragons!" We both start laughing our Butts off! We got 5000 XP a piece off of her and that was it...we were pumped and feelin bad to the bone!
Well neither Rancors nor Nightsister Stalkers were safe from the Dragons last night! Needless to say I will hit Master TKA soon from all this and I couldnt be happier!
Nightsister Ranger Level 75 -9000-10000 XP
Nightsister Stalker Level 85-10000-11000 XP
Rancors Level 50 - dont remeber the XP
Moral to the story...DEVS this was the most fun I have had in this game....Making the game harder does not make it more intersting, it only makes it hopeless...Please dont nerf us anymore because I like what happened last night...I have a new sense of Hope and Confidence that I didnt have before...dont destroy it with another patch!
Gee, and i feltgreat about soloing Giant Sand Beetles last night.

Sounds like the fun myself, a Fencer friend, and a Carbineer had on Dathomir when we decided to go on a Rancor/Mountain Witch killing spree. It was a static spawn and much fun was had. It was at this time that I discovered their force powers because I asked my in game brother why she was doing close to 1K damage to me.
It did boost my feelings of confidence, but not as much as what a certain Underworldly guy remarked to me...

I think you've been misinformed. I know there was a cap around that on lairs, but I can tell you that I have killed many a MOB that granted far more than 5000 xp.
I will say one thing, trying to solo stormtroopers with a graul mauler, is NOT a pleasant hunt... all they do is kite, kite, kite, kite, kite... oh, and they also run and kite.
Although, Nightsisters does sound fun... I have 5000 nightsister faction, and they still don't pay attention to that. All theydo is shoot everyone's head off and run off to the little rancors laughing.

you should be thankful that these are they only mobs in the game that are smart enough to run and gun....you guys have it way too easy in PvE and either you're all too dense to realize it or you all know about it and think it's a fair way to balance the game....
Teras Kasi- Either you guys tank or you guys do massive damage.....there's NO reason why you should be allowed to do both in a game that's crying for balance
Just a reminder.... the whole point of being a tank is to do dmg.... we'd be poor tanks indeed if we couldn't kill what decided to roll up on us. The very definition of a tank is that it CAN TANK. The other fact is that NO PC can tank as good as a retarted pet.... rofl. Not to mention that i don't rekon we do all that much dmg to anything w/ light or above armour... altho i may be wrong. =)

Well the 2 people (yes I know, 2, but still only 2) took out a medium armored high HAMed mob...so I say when grouped you can do fine....solo you do your fair share of high leveled mobs as well, not nightsisters I'd hope though....
But the problem I have, as i try to explain in my sig, is that you guys do amazing damage, but also take very little damage...meanwhile I'll take commando for example, I do a lot of front end damage, so it ends up being my damage isn't much higher then yours would be in the 9 seconds it take me to fire again.....so I'm trying to understand why they gave you both high damage and high deffence when everyone else is forced to group or become a CH to be able to kill half the things in the game.....you guys are meant to be our tanks, but since you can almost out damage us on most things we're not needed, but we do need you....and until they do something to cut your damage it's lopsided in PvE
