I've been TKM since August and never gotten tired of it. We used to be a rare breed. Now it seems that there is an overabundance of TKA and it makes me sad that my chosen profession is getting swamped because 2 out of ever 3 characters has decided they want to be TKA. No real point to this thread other than to lament the loss of rarity of TKA like the old days.

What does it matter? Next month they will all be fencers. I've already noticed a ton of people leving one-handed on Dantooine.

Exactly, we were fotm for a while but now everyone wants fencer for stacking dodge with pistoleer

I don't care how many TKA there are. Actually on my server, Gorath, there doesn't seem to be that many as trying to get trained is sometimes a pain. I agree that we are the flavor of the month for now, but next month it will be someone else.

Jus to let all you fellow tka know...dualed apistoleer/fencer tonight and won He was a b*tch to hit though lol.

That's how I felt Nealoc when they upped the XP to make it easier for people to get Master Bounty Hunter. I figured if I wasn't gonna be rare I might as well do something I enjoyed more. After being a ranged class for about 4 months I'm enjoying the hell out of being a Teras Kasi. Quite a difference.

yeah it seems it's the new flavor of the month. Just wait till everyone complains and we get nerfd so the heards move on.

if you want to be a rare profession become a pikeman/squad leader

or pikeman/image designer

ya, get over it mein. If the number of people doing the same profession as you messes up your own level of fun fantasy feeling you have for your character, then dddeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr try imagining a little harder
lets say...imagine you're the TKA with the most original special combos or something or where white gloves and you may be the most holy TKM to serve the lord lol

The only reason I see more TKA now is because they added that extra damage at Novice level and made TKA easier to progress through.

Personally the extra damage is nice, but it should of only been added at the Master TKA box if added at all. So those dedicated to TKA get it when they complete TKA, not making it easier to just get the few lines you want.

I think it is a real shame that the new TKA novice is able to deal so much damage now, it used to be a big jump in damage from UA4 to TKN, but now it is just an excessive amount of increase.

Don't overlook the fact that smugglers, and commando's can just as easily go TKM. And due to the massive CH nerf alot of people are going to have a whole profession worth of skill points to put somewhere else... And for most of them "soloist" TKM is the next best thing.
