What part of teras kasi is simply a bunch of fun and that's why people are playing it because it's a very fun profession to play and I'm sorry if that doesn't make you feel special anymore don't you understand

I don't care there are thousands of us. I hate them equating me with the afk'ers that only know how to PvP.

I've been TKM since August and never gotten tired of it. We used to be a rare breed. Now it seems that there is an overabundance of TKA and it makes me sad that my chosen profession is getting swamped because 2 out of ever 3 characters has decided they want to be TKA. No real point to this thread other than to lament the loss of rarity of TKA like the old days.

I used to say the same thing when i made master rifleman, couldn't find any players to train me because i'd seen only mabye 2 master rifleman. Master TKA is lots of fun, and yes there are lots of them now. I feel your pain at the loss of being different, or special. There's always master ranger or squad leader hehe.

ya know.. i thought about that myself.. i see lots of TK ppl running around.. and honestly i enjoy TK so much that doubt i will ever leave it for anything else... but i am one of those ppl who has it set so i dont wear a "profession tag" and my character is not searchable.. there is not more fun then chilling in bestine wearing my shorts and sandals when some stupid smuggler or something comes up and thinks that i am some noobie since i dont have on any armor or nothing..

they usually say something stupid along the lines of " hey there are u new or somethign? why dont you go get some armor" and me being the TKM in disguise i dont say a word i just hit the challenge duel button.." unarmed knockdown 2.. unarmed hit3.. unarmed hit 3,.... GG hehe

but ya soon as the next monthly patch rolls around the numbers will grow thin again.. but i am here to stay

TKM is far too easy to achieve. I'd be happy if they added on an extra25% unarmed experience requirement to the first 3 lines of the tree.

Heck, if you really want to feel special then go Pikeman. Not only will you feel special but, I think, eveyone may laugh at you.

Want to be unique? Then take up Polearms.

Personally I am thinking about trying fencing.

No kidding, when I'm playing my Pistoleer MCH char, all I see is Pistoleers and MCH'ers.

When I play my novice TKA/Artisan character, all I see is TKAs and Master Artisans =]

yes TKA is the best profession i think. Getting it wasa riot, but when i had it for a few weeks i started losing interest (mainly cuz i did PvE) then i started doing PvP with it, and i doubt i will ever drop this profession, now im doing secret template stuff to make me uber in PvP..I want to eventually master all the melee skills, but i will never drop TKA!!

You got a problem with too many of us TKA running around? Anyways I change professions every 2 weeks or so not because it is the flavor of the month but because I like to have a feel of each profession and see how broken it is. But I think I will stick with TKA for a while just because it is something different compared to most of the ranged classes.

Try going hunting with a group of TKA. Trust me it will be fun. More than half of my guild is going TKA now for some weird reason though we all started as pistoleers way back when it was broken. Now that pistol has been fixed they are instead dropping it for TKA. Went hunting inLOK with 6 of my guild members a couple of nights ago, with 1 TKM,2 mid level TKA, 2 TK students and a master heavy swordsman. Of course there were 3 MCH in them so we had 3 gurrecks for the ride as well. Anyways it was fun because of the lag. I would land just one hit on a medium armored merc, lag out for a few seconds and then see the merc dead and everyone had hit it only once. Now that was funny.

Yea its does make you feel a bit less special when there loads more running about. Still better those people choose TKA rather than the damned CH profession. More player tanks :-)
