Thread: TKM and...
Hi everyone! I'm currently making my way to Teras Kasi Master and I must say it's going really fast thanks to Fort Tusken!
But sometimes , I just feel bored by the constant fighting , so I started thinking that maybe I should split my time mastering another profession! At first I considered TKM/Master Doctor , which seems to be the latest "boom" , and yes , I must admit I have seen some and they are absolutely deadly! But the truth is , I don't really like to craft , and gathering resources is not really something I have fun doing , and since I'm almost Master Medic now I started to realise that most of the stims , medpacks , etc. cost a lot of resources to craft!
So , I was thinking... since I don't reallyenjoy being a medic , a doctor or any kind of artisan , what other profession could I master?
I thought maybe Creature Handler & Brawler , because I have seen some aroundTatooine and they are great! With 2/3 pets around them , they can clean the wholeFort Tusken in minutes , and the pets really provide some great cover! One other thing is that Master CHs can train mounts , which is quite profitable , and a fine way to make some decent credits! But since there are some people around who say that CH and TKM is a bad mix , I wanted to ask the more experienced players what they think.
What do you guys think? TKM and...?!
Thanks in advance! ![]()
TKM, Master Swordsman, the rest into CH.
CH gives you the tank, TKM gives you light/no armor opponent killing power, Swordsman lets you handle higher end creatures with medium/heavy armor.
um why not master smuggler?
lowblow lastditch and SLICING!! then you get a money pool
TKA/Commando
Currently IMHO the best pve solo'er in the game. Screw pets.....
Master smuggler and pistoleer. That's what I am. *giggles*
A lot of people are playing as master rifleman/TKM too. That way you get insane defensive mods plus killer damage in both PvE and PvP.
TKM AND TAILOR now whoes seen that combo i think no one!!!
i get to kick ass and make clothes that do the same
jinbu
... I am a Master TKA/ novice armorsmith(working to be a master)... ![]()
I have a qeustion like to ask people advice:
I want to be a MTK and Master Armorsmith and that left me66 skills points. Subtract the noivce medic, I have 51 sp left. My question is should I go for carbineer or rifleman for the rest of the skills points?(only can learn one tree)
Thank you all for you help and good luck to you all ![]()
Thanks for all the advice guys! There is one other thing I should have stated earlier , I usually play the game with the Role-Player tag , cause I really like to get into the role of my T.Kasi character most of the time , obeying certain codes , etc. So...
1: Commando - is fantastic , but it wouldn't be that easy for me tocorrectly role-play a TKM/Commando, I mean... a Teras Kasi with military training?! I guess it IS possible but it would ruin my whole "neutral&balanced role". It would be fantastic otherwise , I agree.
2: Doctor-As I have stated before Idon't really likebeing a medic or doctor! It's just too boring for me , and I really don't enjoy it at all , although I can understand why some do...
3: Smuggler/Pistoleer - Thought about it several times , a bit easier to role-play than Commando , but still not the easiest. The fantastic pistol shots I would get would surely make me a PvP killing machine!
4: Master Brawler/CH - A LOT easier to role-play , since well... it's only natural that a TKM should be a Master Brawler as well , and the control over other creatures... well , it's natural as well , since we DO have the power to control the "force" , in a different way than the Jedi yes , that is true , but also in a more balanced and focused way thanthey do, so using that power to control other beings seems quite "possible".
5: Master Swordsman/CH - Great combo! Although not as powerful as some of the others here , it really sounds like fun! I mean... I would love to be able to use swords efficiently and I DO believe thatit would complement the T. Kasi profession , since it is now limited to the of VibroKnucklers... which aren't really that great against heavily armoured enemies.
I could go for Master Brawler with this one instead of CH , and THEN it would be absolutely perfect to role-play , since all of my skills would be based on the ability to deal with melee engagement. Just light a deadly T. Kasi should be! ![]()
PS: With this combo I would still have enough points to take the defensive trees in the Fencer Profession! Nice! These attributes will continue to stack even after the next patch won't they?
