Seriously. I made a post about this once before I thought maybe some people would get a clue. No one cares. Really..

Stop with the pet related XP tips. Anyone who spent the points in CH to get pets is obviously going to have a high enough IQ to know that when hes going to try getting XP hes going to "Send his pets in" what else are they gonna do? Sit around like lawn ornaments while hes getting beat up? Really..Theres no POINT in making these suggestions. If you have the right pet set up you can essentially tank anything that will get you a consistent stream of XP. It's a moot point. Cut it out already. No one cares, especially me. If you can figure out a way to find a good, consistent source for XP regardless of how dangerous it is and provide a 85% sure-fire tip as to how to circumvent the danger and optimally come out on top a lot of time using TK and other MELEE skills. By all means, give the tips out. If it involves CH, shut up already. It's second nature that anyone with a pet is obviousyl going to use it to tank. Anyone with a pet set up has no problem getting XP. Cloning isnt a problem, a guy can go to any of the uber planets, and trial and error and see which mobs jack his pets up the least while getting him the most XP it doesn't require some extravagant post detailing the secret to getting the most TK XP.

You can flame me all you want, do I care? No. If I had it my way I'd have deleted the CH class. I had pondered that I might even go so far as to ban every CH dabbler too. (Meaning people not going full CH as their profession) I hate the CH class with unbridled passion. Every profession forum I've been in, its the same thing. All XP Guides seem to have a pre-requisite of having some sort of CH pet. It's just not necessary. Anyone who already does have a pet will have no problem finding out howm uch XP he can crank out of that said pet or pets. It's the rest of us who are trying to make it on our own, or even with benefits of other hybrid classes to do it.

Here are my Anti-Retard Guidleines for making XP Tip Posts:

* - Never mention CH

-- If you have a serious problem with that, formulate an entire non-CH related strategy and at the end include a CH section to save the people who are using pets the, and I cringe to say this, "trouble" of finding out which creature to use their pets on. Frankly thats all the strategy it requires.

*- Always formulate your focus strategy based around how the player can handle the strategy with the skills only within the class in question. If you are making suggestions for the useo f skills in other classes, its excess and should be labelled optional. (If you've found you've got no sole strategy and all your stuff is hybrid class/CH hybrid related. Just dont make the guide. Make a separate guide letting everyone know what it is before they waste their time reading it)

im a tka/ch but i dont need my pets at all

those new kimu lairs that everyone is doing right now, i can solo with or without my pet

with melee pets are just dots with ranged pets are tanks and dots

here a way to solo kimu lairs for real:

Wait till one of the kimus is a good distance from the other and just run up around 10-20m without attacking, just try to get aggro. Once it starts chasing run and spam intimidate till it sticks, turn around and kd, then stun blind and pound away till its dead. Then just run up and kill the 2nd one. The next part is tricky, you have to attack the lair while hitting tab so once a kimu pops out you can run away and kill it further awayfrom the lair before the 2nd one spawn. Just repeat this till the lair is almost dead then finish it off.

you do need some sort of healing for this though, or lots of downtime and powerboost.

I said theres no reason in this game NOT to have a pet. anybody can have a nonch pet that acts as a **edit** good tank.

oh and the guy that said pets are more powerful then players, you are a fool. My pets get owned 1 on 1 all the time. They may be more powerful then non-elite classes, but shouldnt they be? If you can beat a CH pet, you need to rework your pvp strategy... the pets are always the first to die, and fast.

For people who like to solo....group with pets will give youbonus xp even if you just leave it behind not using it. So why not? Yeah, of course you don't need a pet when you have a doctor behind you healing you. No one says you need to spend any points to get CH. You can use non CH pets to tank just as well. so please shut up about telling people to shut upabout pets. If you have any better suggestion to get more xp, we would like to hear. If not, keep your own opinion to yourself instead of flame on others.

But lets break it down a little, you said you've posted twice on this... if you had to post twice, that means no one cared enough to read/respond to the first, simply meaning, no one cares about your view on the matter.

Secondly, you posting this crap is just feading to the crap you supposedly are looking to stop. You say you hate CH threads on the tka board, yet you post one.

And im sorry to inform you, but the post response you got on this thread does not qualify you for "more feedback then most other posts". sorry.

I'll have to agreed. You made insults, assumptions, but no constructive discussion.

You say you can solo without pets. Tell them how and where. You say theres no point dabbling in CH. Tell them what you dabble in and why.

Make discussion and back up opinions, otherwise they get torn apart like this one. Don't just bash CH and storm out. Say why you don't use it (And not just "cause its **edit**" That sounds like something an AOLing 8 year old would say.) and also what you've found to be effective.

Give something to talk about and don't just storm in here and throw a temper tantrum because 90% of the players dabble in CH. You do know some do it because they like animals, and not to "PWN nUBs".

Ok I think I understand this. My question then is this to be an effective Teras Kasi I need to go visit the CH forums to learn how. Also what if I don't have any points left over and I have never even wanted to train scout. Does that mean i'm screwed as a TKA?

No, go to the CH forum to figure out how to gain experience most quickly and effeciently. This is true for basically every profession out there except doctor.

The fundamental flaw in this game is that pets mitigate is that to gain experience effeciently you need massive HAM bars.

So... you can

• Get doctor skills, group with a doctor, or pay one to buff you.


• Find a Master Dancer to buff your mind. Use powerboost to make this gain even more killer for all of your ham bars.


• Wear strong kinetic armor like new advanced ubese

or

• Get a non ch pet for free for alot of power


• Pay up the skillpoints for at least 1100 ch to get tremendous power.

Your choice... but please:

Tips..Tips..Tips..Hm..Kind of hard, im looking for them myself. Every stable strategy i've formulated ( me vs x creature as my consistent "XP Farm) has been followed with a Nerf Bat. At first I was doing my high XPing with Nyms, I went to Dath found Baz Nitches were easier because of the no bleeds and less wounds. Did those to the point I got so BORED with XPing (it was easy as HELL But I got SOOOOOOOO bored) I actually stopped playing SWG for two weeks. The day I came back Baz's went aggro/baf. I went back to Lok, did Nyms some, about one or two days later, Nyms BAF. I've been on a very fast paced search ever since. Been running from planet to planet to try my luck.

Consistent XP? Banthas, of all types. Around 1200 XP a pop, (and unless theyve changed they arent BAF/Aggro [cept for Ferals]) And theres a whole bunch per lair. You can find these Northwest of Mos Taike. Good luck.

I've been dwindling around Dathomir as well, trying to find some sort of success story there. As for strategies I really have none in the TK dept because all of my focus XPing skills comef rom Master Brawler. I'm a Lunge2/Warcry2/Intimidate2 guy. I start off with the Lunge2, then the WC2, and then debuff with the brawler moves and Intimidate 2. Then I just do normal combat spam with VKs on and a few Unarmed Hit 2's here and there to make it faster.

If you're going to be a focused meleer, getting Master Brawler is imperative to optimize your TK skills. CH and other such professions are not. I also have some Pistol skills (these are for purely RP purposes as I RP a Rebel fighter pilot, standard issue is DL-44 or DL-18 as a sidearm. [I have one of the best if not the best DL-44s on Starsider], no I don't care that its not the "uber" weapon)

So my current set up is TK/Master Brawler/Almost Novice Pistoleer.

All in all, if you want consistent XP, try Banthas, its slow, but it works. Well, at least with Warcry2 it works
