I was running enraged rancor missions solo without armor the other day... I am also master pistoleer though and had to be careful not to get caught by more than four of those monsters... I also did them without armor because I was poor as hell...

I bet fighting a ranged PvE mob would be a different story though because our unarmed toughness doesn't exactly help to much...

I myself run commando under my sweaty, salty, smelly composite. Nothing like a "fresh" pair of composite pants on a hot, Tatooine day.

i cant think of the last time i used armor in pve. it was probobly when i was krayt hunting a few months ago. dont need it. noobs need armor.

I always use my 68% Kenetic Ubese when fighting.I never really fought with out armor, im gonna give it a try later.

I'm always unarmored. Unarmored in pve because I don't get buffed often, secondaries are mostly crap. Unarmored in pvp because when I feign death, people seem to like black bar griefing me I'm a coward in pvp, might as well not ruin a good set of armor, right?

i PvE quite often, and almost never go armored. Then only times i wear armor are in the geo labs, against nightsisters, krayts, or on the Corvette. i solo rancors unarmored, and just about everything else i've come across. my reasons are simple. Don't want to damage the armor. I only have 1 suit now, and it's very good, so I save it for PvP when it really matters. My alt is a doc/musician and my roommate's alt is a dancer, so I ALWAYS have a full set of very good buffs. but that's just me.
