Ok...as a Master Smuggler, Master TKA, Master Brawler...


what should I do with the remaining 18 points...


I want to be able to hit(unarmed) what I aim for, but I don't want to be easily hit by the enemy, via melee or ranged.


any suggestions???

If you have 18 points left over, do 1000 or 0100 Medic. That lets you use Stim Bs and either use them a bit more quickly or have them heal a bit more per use (your choice). It's a big help.

You don't have enough points to get many defenses. You could do 0030 Pistoleer, which gives you +40 against Stun/Dizzy/Blind and Ranged Mitigation 2, but I think the medic would help you more.

hmm...so maybe i should get rid of Master Brawler all together, and just go for the Tri-Master?

It is a fun template, but it just depends on whether you plan to use the ranged portion of the template or not. If you never plan to use Pistols then why invest the points (except for defenses) and instead spend the points on Master Brawler. It just boils down to how you plan to play...

This is what i was trying to figure out before...I want to play unarmed all the way...bu ti want to pick up some good defenses as well. That's where i need the help

Master Brawler helps with Lunge2 and Intimidate2 especially, so if those skills are very useful to you then retain what you have and just add some Medic. If Defensive mods are more important to you then I would drop Master Brawler for the Tri-Master.

iim thinking about going..

master tka

master brawler

master fencer

0040 pikeman

novice medic

with that template it would be more of defensive stacking and i am big into pvp and once i get kd i can never get up so this way ill have more def vs dizzy and kd. does this template sound good or should i not even go since they are going to get rid of defensive stacking.

I am working on a TKA Roleplayer template. A traditional human from Bunduki. No weapons, other than fists, and occasionally VKs, however, willing, to take up other profesisons for skills/defenses etc.

Any suggestions?

I've had a couple of mates that have used this template in the past & they have found it very good. Them removing deffence stacking is unlikly, they may change how it works but the basics will be there. When the Combat Upgrade does do live it will be in afewmonths going by what TH has said the other day, so you have more then enough time to try it & see if you like it before even needing to think.

Personly I'd go with Pistoleer but thats part of my planed template for when I get my second character anyway. But if you are working in a group for the PvE most the time I would really recomend Commando. A couple of friends of mine currently have it as part of their template & they make life alot easier in places like the DWB & other such places. You have access to alot of high AP special weapons as well as the flame DoT from you're flamer. The flame DoT alone makes taking out an SBD 10x easier.


With Pistoleer you might find you are using TK most the time simply as your damage output isn't that high as well as needing to be using TK in order to tank. It's good for the extra deffences if you feel you need them but most the time you will find your self without a blaster in your hand.

I don't know why but I always think Ranger really suits a roleplaying TK as well as giving you lots of use on a hunt. Although it doesn't really add to your deffence it's a really pratical skill if you plan on PvE'ing alot as well as been able to suply your friends with the creature resources they need, or a good source of income when you are in need of money but don't want to go grind on Janta missions. If you are more intrested in going for the deffences though check through the rest of the thread, theres some great ideas.


Their just my opinions on it but I hope all of that was some help.

I got a question about a CM/TKM template... currently I'm a TKM in the process of surrendering Master Doctor and I want to go CM. It's impossible to Master CM and TKM, so which colums should I go up in CM to be the most effective in PvP?

You have enough points to go TKM and then 4404 CM. Your only hindrance will be that you have to buy your CM stuff from somebody else.
