How is that Ninjutsu? I know there can't be many qualified teachers here in the States for that style....

I currently hold black in Kenpo. i've studied Hung Gar Kung Fu, Iaido, and Kendo. I love learning in Iaido, the teacher is a zen priest so i get to learn so much more than just a style.

I'm 17 and have taken around 7-8 years of Tae Kwan Do. Training up to my blackbelt at the moment. I also do independent study of Jeet Kune Do. My instructors refer to my current rank as a "Bloody Red Belt." Sparring matches between them often end up in "accidental" full contact hits.
I may also be taking judo classes in the future. Looks like an interesting style.

I started participating in karate at a very young age, my parents ran out of money for lessons and would love to pick up a form of martial arts now, but the only one within 45miles is karate, I would like to learn TKD or JJ.

Silum, I must ask, do you think of boxing as a lesser fighting style? In one of your posts you said a guy had to resort to boxing, as if it were a lower level fighting style. Boxing is actually a very good and very effectivefighting style. It's more offensive then defensive. Just because it's common doesnt make it bad.
I didn't mention this in my before post, but I also self train in weapons. I have several swords (cheap **edit** from pakastan :smileysad
andalot of really nice knives and daggers (yes illegal nice:smileyvery-happy
I can also make anything into a weapon (just remember, blunt objects are more leathal then sharp ones :smileyhappy
I have to stop here before I start my love story about weapons....

I don't claim any 1 style. I learned things from many people. So i have a mixture of styles i mixed into somthing i like to call Shinjitsu. (no it's not a real style it's what i call my own - gota start somewhere) I've learned from my uncle who is a black belt in karate and kung fu. Learned Tei Quan do from 2 of my best friends one of who is a state champion in florida the other was second place in states and Ninjitsu (i'm not allowed to say the name of the dojo). I'm hoping to learn some sword styles like. Kendo and i believe ikido?

Awesome topic for a post man! I was testing for my first degree brown belt in a shotokan/okinowan karate and jiu-jitsu class. I also wrestled in High School, and now in college I've been taking up shaolin kung fu which consists of wing chun, chin na, and chi gung. Its pretty cool stuff. I am currently a master tera kasi as well, but i use brass knucks instead because vibroknucklers don't exist in real life.
