Caylin, thanks so much for posting this information--you really shouldn't have needed to do so and I think it's more than a little irresponsible of Argule not to have done this himself; what would it take? Five minutes? For that, I can only say good riddance to him.
Perhaps we should take an active role this time around--a very active role--and select someone on our own and push them for the Devs to accept as a fait accompli? That would save them time and us time, though with the push-back of the revamp, little may be happening in the near future.
So, who here would best be qualified to serve as Correspondent? And please, those who don't know for pretty damn sure they're going to be around for a while don't bother volunteering.
Post your application here: why you want to be, what you feel your qualifications are, how you want to represent us, and what you think of the TK's role in SWG.
I lurk in the TKA, Doc and Wanderhome forums and it is just recyled BS day in and day out.
In the TKA forum it's always some noob asking for advice when reading the FAQ or other stickies would probably have answered 99.9% of their questions. Every day just about, there is yet another thread bemoaning about why we need another damage type as if that subject hasn't been soundly beaten unto death
Seems like people are posting just fill the silence. But I tell ya, it's getting old. Murphy's law states that I'm gonna burn out reading the forums and when something truly news worthy happens I'll miss it
However, having played pistoleer and hearing the gripes of other professions, I think TKA has it pretty good relatively speaking. Most all of our specials work as intended. We've got excellent damage output. Leveling up isn't such the mind numbing grind that other professions suffer with.
Top all that off with the announcement that combat balance has been pushed back to next spring? It's no wonder some are suffering the blues.
