Theres no way it's not a bug.

Sure if you're non-human you can buff your mind in various ways, but if you're human you can buff you're mind in the exact same ways and be unstoppable.

The fact of the matter is that doc buffs take about a minute to apply and add up to 3k to 6 attributes. Musician and dancer buffs take at least 6 mins and provide a maximum buff of 1100. Theres the imbalance. Add to that the number of docs versus the number of master musicians/dancers.

Anyhow, there is still more to life than min/max'ing. If you want to min/max go play Diablo2 or EQ.

I believe it's a bug because the functionality that was present at the start of the game was logical. It changed, with no notice, to functionality that is not logical and unbalancing. Anyone who wants to maximize their effectiveness in any professionwould be foolish to play any race but human- I cannot believe something sofundamental to the game would be intentionally changed without a note or change to the text in the character generator. Hence, I will continue to believe it's a bug, and hope the original poster doesn't re-roll for it.

I do agree that there are a lot of other bugged issues about humans but they are all noted in the species top 5 list (see the SWG Discussion forum). This thread is about someone's frustration with having a race other than the one that is currently themost powerful in every profession - I'm just trying to temper that frustration with my opinion of how that situation came about.

I played a Trando in beta3 and a Zabrak since launch and wouldn't trade my horns and tats for all the bugged stats in the world, fwiw

I created my character on Sunday and chose Trandoshan. I am only Unarmed 3 so it would it would not bother me much to create a new character. After reading these posts, I am heavily leaning towards deleting my toon and starting over as human. Given that I am going to stick with TKA when Mastered ( unless they nerf it to Pike level), and that I understand that the human stat limitsmay change at any time, would the collective you recommend I start over as human?

you might want to add that the "bug" is worthless in pvp if you are fighting other elites...regen my ass... you'll be dead...hope you put it into health
