3rd tier is coming that is simple logic..even if SOE dont see it yet. What are their options really, people are leveling faster than they expected and we have a lot of Masters in the game and many people within 5 - 10 boxes.

Option 1 - do what they just did - increase respawn times so that they limit the xp we get. fine this works and has now made the Tusken fort useless for grps greater than 15 people. Takes forever for the respawn and we sit for a half hour after wiping out the bottom and mid level areas. this they need to be careful with eventually it will seriously affect the enjoyment of the game. In EQ there was lot of thing to kill and the respawn was quick...but ur downtime to heal took forever - all they have done here is switch What we are waiting for. We heal fast but now we WAIT for the respawn. Either way half our SWG life will be sitting in camps.

Option 2 increase xp requirements - ouch there would be flame wars about this.

Option 3 high xp requirements on 3rd teir professions. Simple make Master whatever a stepping stone to a super hard elite professions. Gives everyone a long term goal that may take a couple yrs to attain, however the benifits of EVERY box attained in this superelite profession has to be worth the effort.

Since the game currently lack much content (which is to be expected in a new game) most player are consintraing on getting xp and leveling. Especially since there is NO good, useful items to quest for.. and half the resourses needed for craft the high end weapons do not exsist yet.

All this means is that right not 95% of players are trying to getxp and powerlvl as there is very little else to do yet. We need to have something to work for and a title that takes 1-2 months to get is not enough!

3rd tier skills is a good idea. THESE skills put foward ARENT a good idea though. That would completely unbalance the game. Yeah it would be great for us, until everyone and their mother respecs to TKA. How fun would that be: 3000+ godlike TKA's running around each server. hmmm....no

I dont think anyone said that a TKM could stop a Lightsaber with his bare hands, all that was said was that TK's could push the force away from them. Thereby disabling forcepush, choke, etc, and making it hard for the Jedi to predict the TK's moves. Forcing the Jedi to rely on his skills alone and not the force to fight a TK. This means that, yes, if a TK is hit with a Lightsaber it will hurt... alot. Of course, other than the other posts I have no basis to justify ANY of this. Just going off of what others have said. I think it's based on the Star Wars Dice Game.

As for the 3rd tier... I think that all other skills requirements should be left alone. No changing of the current requirements, cause there would be MORE peoplecomplaining constantly. What I say is make the GrandMastervery very very very dificult, so that only the most dedicated could get there. Maybe.

In RL how many people do you see that are considered Grandmasters in any field, the GM should be almost as difficult to obtain as say Jedi Master, ONLY we have the option to go down this path from the beginning.

Give us an option should we be one of the unfortunate players that never unlocks a FS slot. Personally the concept that after playing this game for three yrs I will be skill wise at the top of my profession and some newbie playing for 4 months would have done the same...this worries me.

What differentiates between a new master TK from a Old vet other than his/her Reputation? in this game currently NOTHING but Bank accounts. So 10 months from now your a TKM with 5 million credits in his account, what do you do with it? Buy a nice big house..ok...then what? new VKs..ok...some new clothes....ok....

what about the other 4.8Million left over?

I personally love this game, and I know it is very young so please do not think I am critizing it. I just want to see it reach its potenial and to do so requires some additions and some alterations.

What Dryke said is correct.

A TKM can not out right beat a jedi on any given day. Only a very few eilte TKMs have ever beaten a jedi. So don't over hype the profession to be what it is not.

You want proof of what a TKA is suppose to do then use SEARCH on this page and the internet. Look it up for yourself. I did.

We are not looking for TKA to be at jedi power level as far as game balance goes. We just want TKA to be as good as the rest of the combat professions in the game. I don't think that is asking too much.

***Also, I am VERY interested about the Teras Kasi being designed to kill Jedi. You say it's in the books... Well, throw us a bone and tell us which book. I am on my 5th book and still have seen nothing about that. If this is true, please let us know.***

Dont quote me, but i believe there is a reference to it in DarthMaul Shadow Hunter. It refers to Maul's training in TK to better himself against the Jedi...

If been looking for some real clues on Teras Kasi, but so far very very little has come up other then some stories that look like they where created by GMs or Teras Kasi fans of Star Wars.

But the challenge to all still stand name the books other then WOC Hero Guid and Power of the Force. The discription of it there is so little it would not do the "background floating around" justice.

So far i can see we are just one of the many martial arts in the universe. There is atleased one martial art that uses the force and its practicioners are force sensitive, the name escaped me for a moment though. If Teras Kasi would have any of those traits it would have been mentioned in the books for sure. (not withstanding a Jedi or so who also trains as Teras Kasi).

So SOE has finally stated that Elite-elite profession are coming. Well everyone it is time to start praying that a Pure TKA path will become possible.

Only time will tell.

I like this idea but I would change one thing. I dont think a Grandmaster should take up all your skill points because then you couldnt dabble in a craft as well. Perhaps instead make it so you can only be a Grandmaster if that is your only fighting class. Then people could still have their trade.

I agree on this but I also think that there shood be the same type thing on all professions ,and they need to add more skill points and add harder new types of mobs to all the planets and add more spawnpoints on all the planets.

Its bad on some planets that you can run for over 20 min. and not see a single mob or just see one type of mob.

I also think they shood make it a hair easyer to become a jedi NOT to easy though BUT make there different ranks of jedi that each are hard to unlock , start with jedi then master jedi then last master jedi knight.

ok.. umm.. a few things..

1) Teras kasi is never gona be fs in this game. i know i know this sucks becouse teras kasi was jedi hunters and used the force to track down and kill jedi. but the powers that be i guess believe starwars should be only about Jedi and Gunslinging.

2) i've never ever heard of a teras kasi grandmaster. If they made a class like that. then that would be a class made just for this game. becouse master is the highests rank of teras kasi. that would be like giving Master Jedi a new rank of Grandmaster Jedi.

3) before dreaming of a new Class how about fixing the old one to make it feel better. i really can't stand not beable to run and hit. maybe giving us a new skill like err.. umm.. "Puko Charge" or somthing. that lets us fly at the target. i know i'd do a running kick at people if i was running after them, i'd atleast try and brake there legs while doing it so they run slower or somthing (real life).
