You get a star Etyrnal! I don't read the boards much, so please forgive me if I repeat something that someone has said in the past. I would like to share with you all an idea I had in the past expanding on this idea that "Master is Just the Beginning." As a few of you may know, armorsmith when achieving master, can search out an NPC and learn a new technique of crafting armor. If we could somehow begin asking for a similar system set out for not only TKM, but all proffesions where players can search for wandering hermits that can train a certain type of discipline to others. This could give a certain type of longevity to each proffesion. A large quest based system for each skill would be even better than haveing to pay money, because money is so...ugh. It would be more exciting to have to gain the Grandmaster's trust and then become an apprentice and then begin training in his discipline as a deciple, or if you are a smuggler for example, become a partner or grunt in lets say, "Nym's" pirate gang (just an analogy)

Anyway, thank you for reading my post, I hope it gets a few people thinking and I believe we could have some very, very interesting conversations going!

I also think the Questions regarding Center of Being and Defence Acuity are very important ! Never seen my TKA-Master block, dodge or counterattack ! CoB seems absolutely useless !

Very nice list Jherad!! 5 stars

If I could use all of my skill points on TKA, I would also!!

I love this proffesion, but more depth to it would be very nice

The main things I have questons about are:

1) CoB and general defensive acuity. How do these work?

2) In reponse to the numerous threads stating that TKA should be able to take bounties on jedi, I disagree to an extenet. I think that this not only intrudes on the domain of a BH but also seems a little bit odd to get paid for 'posing' as another profession. I propose one of two things. Either a. Allow TKMS to take player(or NPC even) jedi bounties, except that no money would be paid. Or b. allow us to more fulfill the EU role of 'Jedi Watchers' by giving us an increased chance to raise a Jedi's 'visibilitty' rating when we see/group with one. I think either of these would definately be interesting, though I side more with b. What do you guys think?

I would like to see TKMs able to meditate away battle fatigue...we meditate away everything else ... and we are supposed to be disciplined enough that we should be able to meditate it away.

I like the idea of a dark TKM versus a pure martial artist. It number one adds an in depth look at the teras kasi history, but also adds a new branch for those of us, myself included, that became teras kasi because we are or want to be martial artists from the begininning, not because a blue and white box told us to.

1. How is Defense Acuity calculated? Especially, since we do not currently have base stats for dodge, block, etc.

2. What exactly does Defense Acuity do?

3. Can you please Internally Test Defense Acuity and compare with other melee profession dodge, block, etc. related skills?

Will post more later...

Id like to see some in game content for us... look everyone in the galaxy can study swords... but few will hone thier bodies to perfection as the TKA does..

Id even like to see some specific in game quests for our Profession

oh and my major rant:

Change leghit 1 to a snare attack reducing the movement of the victim by half.. This should be profession specific and moved to the master slot

I got one. Why does dizzy NOT WORK on creatures, but only on bipedal human-type models? IE, rancors, kryats, durnis, etc can be dizzied, but it seems to have zero effect on them. Has this question ever been answered?

Will TKA (any class?) get to duel wield one-handed weapons?

Will TKA get a DOT attack?

Will TKA get the ability to do more damage types? I know TKA is unarmed, but what about VK-Like weapons? (Non-gloves please - there are a lot of Trandoshan TKAs...)

In looking at BE clothing, I bought some with bonuses to warcry and intimidate. I was surprised to see in my stats that I didn't have any bonuses from TKA skills. Are there supposed to be bonuses granted in one of the skill trees?

Can we have descriptions added to the meditate skill boxes to tell what it does and when? Until I found the FAQ here, I had no idea if meditate actually did much of anything. When is it better than sitting for regen?

Maybe more of a WS question, but in gathering resources to have VKs made, I noticed that the "Lightweight" vibro motors have high HAMs compared to a standard unit. Shouldn't they be more like 5/5/5 base HAM? (motor not the final VK)

Why can I not stand when KD/Dizzy, but mobs that I KD/Dizzy seem to have no problem doing so?
