WHAT in the GALAXY!?!?!
friend you got ripped off with your Ubese purchase if your composite has lower HAM
look around. i have never bought a single suit of Ubese that i had to be buffed to wear. i could wear them HEAD to TOE unbuffed...with a kenetic resist around 75-80%
Yes i may have been a little overly eager with my HAM stats, but when it comes to HAM, im only concerned with the "M" for mind. As im always buffed, the other doesnt seem to affect me. Besides when going into PVP i always go to a medical city to buff ![]()
With my Encumb sliced Comp from A-pex and my stats migrated mostly to mind, I can get almost all my comp armor on.
The Ubese i have is also effectiveness sliced, not encumbrance.
the difference between the two in HAM cost is really nothing to worry about, but the difference in protection certainly is not up for comparison.

Well i cant see the point of Ubese really, after buying some 76% kenetic Ubese, and getting it sliced.
My Composite has higher stats and lower HAM.
Sometimes true - but while grinding I got Ubese for around 40 - 60k a full set vs 200 - 300k for composite. Don't waste credits on high end while working up the trees for PVE.

How is the wookiee armor for us poor guys that can't wear ubese or composite? That chest piece had costs up in the 200s or close to 300s but, Idon't think it was sliced though. At TK 2342 I'm getting my butt handed to me by those Sith Taskmasters. They pull out a knife and I'm hurting. I will definitely have to pick up a PSG though;those ranged Sith Taskmasters totally wipedmy Action or Mind bars in one shotwhen I was tangling with a knifer more than once even with Power Boost and Brandy. Yeah, I know I should be going in with doctor buffs but, I'm poor right now and at least armor doesn't disappear everytime I die.

But Ubese is cheaper to buy a new set of than composite.
But Composite lasts twice as long ![]()
Besides I have recently bought a set of 80% composite with 65% or so base for 90k ![]()
