Wait to find a BH with a krayt scatter pistol who deal 320 dmg every sec from 50 mt to your mind even with a 65% resist composite head protection then come back and say you dont need armor

I don't really care either, for it is the power of the bounty hunters and ranged professions, which we will never have. Only when our power will overwhelm them is when we get close enough or ahead of them, knock them down and finish them off or if we have a good pet to do it for us....

The armor thing keeps comming up for wookiees....I'll give my2 cents....
At the basic levels of the game armor is almost not needed. You can walk around most planets even the high end ones and never have a peice of armor on and survive. That assumes of course that you steer clear of any red cons you see, have great mask scent abilities, avoid (scout) creatures, and aren't in a group with a person who doesn't have mask scent.
And it's not just asimple matter of dammage reduction with armor.We have the ability to have Bioengineered clothing in the game, which have slots which you can fill up with skill tapes.Non wookieescan put this clothing on, equip their kryat enhanced armor, then add armor skill attachments to the armor for unarmed accuracy, or various other things. These enhancements stack on top of the BE enhancements, and then those stack on top of the skill tapes that are equiped in the clothing. It puts wookiees ata significant disadvantage.
This disadvantage becomes quite evident in most PvP battles unless your dealing with an inexperianced PvP player. And it's also evident when you begin to attack high end mobs. Grab a group fill half up with wookiees, fill the other half up with non-wookiees with armor, and goto the night sister camp. Make sure they are all roughly about the same level in their professions (prefereably master) and see who dies first. Or even better, find a bunch of wookiee medics with little combat skills and put your faith in the fact that they'll rez you once you die. Chances are they'll be dead before you even when not openly engaging in combat like the rest.
People shout from the roof tops "But wookiees get the extra 300 HAM bonus!". Yea that's great in the beginning of the game when the mobs your attacking do 62pts of dammage per hit, but 300 HAM is nothing to a high end mob who does dammage in the thousands per hit range. Armor in these situations means the difference between survivial and death. And I'm sure those attached armor skill mods help as well.
Now I'm not saying that wookiees need armor on the levels of what non wookiees get. We shouldn't look like a large version of bobba fet, or a imperial storm trooper. However wookiees aren't supposed to be the weakest species in this game, and when mon-calimari's can survive longer than my wookiee breatheren and I in battle it becomes painfully obvious that we are. Wookiees need something that can equilize us with the rest of the armor wearing public. I personally think it should be some sort of tailored clothing which gives us some very minor defenses. Or perhaps we can get some type of PSG MK3 which is exclusively made and used by wookiees (similar to the bow caster) which lasts longer than your normal PSG MK3 and gives us a little more dammage reduction than the normal ones.
To those who say "Wookiees don't need armor"...There are 2 types of players that say this. One is the player who has never played a wookiee, and the other is a player who's using his pets to tank for him right now. With the changes to pets comming down the road this is no longer going to be a viable means to keep yourself alive. All wookiees will either need to have CH, or prepaired to die at a moments notice.A level 10 pet isn't going to tank a high end mob for more than a second. TKA's are going to be the new game's tanks and the disadvantage of not having armor in this situation will become blatently obvious as soon as the CH/Brawler patch comes down the line.
