TKM/Master Rifle and you say you're not effective in pvp?
um w/ that template, you're hard to hit as is...i'm TKM alone and miss about 40% of the time vs that template, even when they're kd'd.
my advice, eat some 2ndary mind food so you can spam specials (ie food/drink for focus/quick/strength...make sure you're buffed too)...knock them down, and throw on your VKs and hit headhit (esp if they're buffed)...it won't take long to take them out.
I think I know where you are coming from. I have been in situations in the flurry of a big battle where I went against a combo of pistoleer/fencer/brawler and was not able to successfully land a blow more than a quarter of the time even as a master tk. Couple that with the insanely high resist composite in the game now and the TK can have his or her hands full. I think the problem you may have experienced is related to this latest fencer FoM combo that the next update will address.
You're basically ONLY effective if you have the same thing. That is, high resistance kinetic armor and buffs/drugs/food. I rarely have either of these and I never have good composite. Ubese is pretty useless unless fighting melee.
Leave TKA as it is - up the armor defence Vs Stun/Poison/Disease and put in some resists so whatever attack you use you have the same chance of your target resisting then reducing damage.
Oh and give me 10% of credits made by armorsmiths in the first week after implementing ![]()

I have rarely got the chance to show off my UH3 since the composite armor resistance to kinetic weapons increased to above 70%, if not before. With the PvP damage decrease, the Melee damage mitigation, and armor, TKM's end up doing an average of about 5-15 damage to a player, if that. With VK's it is a touch higher, but not noticably. Either way, we end up killing ourselves simply with ham costs to get the enemy down by 150-200 damage.
Haha, go fight a wookiee and see how hard you hit. Nothing needs to be done to TKMs in PVP. If anything the insane armor needs to be toned down before any sort of damage needs to be upped.
