The info that CSRs have is limited. If they don't know if something is working or not, most of them will say that it works. Hopefully, with Tiggs looking into the CSR situation, things like this will stop happening constantly.

People, this information is straight from the Developer who works on that specific code, and who deals with Combat exclusively. The mods do not (and have never is my understanding) work, but the issue will be taken care of with the Combat Upgrade.

On Unarmed Damage there is not a cap, only on the ones I specifically stated have caps. This means we do get the full benefit of the +250.

Well... The speed FS skills are that way currently. There is nothing, I mean nothing that will possibly get you past the 1 second attack cap. So melee and ranged speed only helps people get to that cap.

And yes that means that a TKM literally attacks as fast as any Jedi possibly could (as does any combat profession that reaches the cap, and they all can).

Here's yet a silly thought . Does the Force sensitive skills like the enhanced Ranged and enhanced Melee defense bonuses gained in the FS enhanced reflex's tree's only help add to getting to the Hard cap ? Or can they take you past the hard cap as the Squad leader skills do ? I ask as to me it would make more sense to be able to go beyond the cap being they are skills designed to help show why a force sensitive and utlimatly a Jedi would have the quicker reaction times because of thier closer affinitys to the force . If these skills didn't do that but only helped take you to the hard cap , then what's the point of having force sensitive skills ? An yes this questions prolly already been raised I just tired and lazy to go searching through 888888888888888888888 and 1 threads hehe to see .

an what of the FS melee and ranged defense tree's , along with the FS ranged and melee accuracy tree's ? Do they factor into any of the hard caps on defense ? the accuracy ones I'm sure I'd read somewhere wasn't capped . But the FS ranged and Melee Defense is the two FS tree's I'm really curious on whether they would aloow you to exceed the hard cap or not . .

Sorry, but the modifiers in the FS trees are just called "Ranged Defense" and "Melee Defense". Same with the modifiers you get from the Jedi Force Defense tree. That means they're no different from the regular modifiers and are subject to the cap.

By the way, it's funny that someone 1-stars me for telling the truth just because it's bad news, LOL.

What I love is that someone on Chilly is running an unarmed damage clothing auction, and swears that they (+24 in tapes)give him a 50% damage boost. When told about this thread, his response was, in effect, that Ryutek should post screenies to prove that the tapes DON'T work.

Heh, funny. I can't even fathom how he can sell the point that +24 would give 50% more damage in the first place. I really do feel sorry for those who don't frequent the forums and do not know better.

Best thing to do if you encounter something like that and feel that it is inappropriate is to send in a CSR ticket. They may or may not agree, and may even have no clue which side is correct, but at least it is a chance.
