Thread: I Dueled with a TKM! (Hang on Guys we have alot to look forward too!)
Sorry Mokai, you would have to be a master doctor with your stats buffed to ever defeat a TKM standing toe-2-toe at 5m *if* he knew what he was doing. A TKM can spam 250hits every second vs. a char wearing adv.composite (upto 450 wearing none) with little HAM use (i.e. not using knucklers). I takes me 67 HAM to use unarmedhit3 with my adv.composite on. Have no idea where you think a TKMs dmg is gimped in PvP without knucklers. Most TKMs don't even use them because of the HAM cost. Not even going into the damage he'll do via knockdown.
Remember, he can easily remove your pet for 5 seconds, easily enough time to kill you. /knockdown2 you (with dizzy), /knockdown2 your pet (dizzy doesn't really work here but who needs it), spams /unarmedhit3 on you.
And me using adv.composite the only weapon in the Pistoleer (not talking about cross classed bounty hunters) tree you'll hurt me with is a DX2 (FWG5s get gimped vs. adv.composite) and thats still getting reduced by 55% on my armor.
I have never lost a fight to any class so far if they've been stupid enough to stand still. The only classes that really threaten me are Bounty Hunters, Commandos, other TKMs and occasionally Riflemen if I've been caught right out in the open.

I have indeed beaten Graul Maulers (oops. My fault on the name mixup), I've beaten a Rancor (I was doc buffed, but I'm also master doc...so it's fair), and though this seems childish, I'm gonna do it again and get screenshots and see if I can find someone to post them.

Thats why I wear advanced composite in PvP Bob. FWG5 has no armor piercing and gets reduced by 50%, plus my (there is better) adv.composite has 55% reduction to everything bar lightning and stun. So even if shes doing 700+ vs. unarmored opponent in PvP she'd be doing less than 158 vs. someone with my type of armor. AR1 pistols are what is needed and currently the Bounty Hunters Scatter Pistol is best (and I'm hunting for good DX2s). When they get the krayt scales working properly for armor you're gonna be getting some pretty **edit** good low-ham adv.composite.
Ignoring the guys talking up their "l33t" creature handling skill and our resident "l33t" gunfighter trying to run in the advantage ranged has currently I will say that I've tried both the TK and Pistol tree up into the elite branches and must say Teras Kasi is more fun. I'm sure killing huge things with a 2nd level pistol to buff your ego is fun and all but I'm looking for fun and with the TKA tree I'm already into making my own techniques and even thinking about doing that weird anime thing where they yell the name of the attack pattern while they do it.
Yes I've been CH, in fact I'm going back into it again. Its a good profession because it offers tangible results for your work.
I'll be staying with the path of the Teras Kasi till master. Not because I can "Go pwn noobs", in fact I get disgusted when I see an idiot sporting a title of Teras Kasi and running around a cantina yelling "NE1 WNT DUELZ!!!11". It's about as disturbing as seeing a shaolin monk sitting a bar telling the guy next to him, "Boy you sure do gotta purdy mouth." Of course I'm the little blond kid on stage playing the flute or the omni so I usually don't say anything. Of course I've never worn the title of student or novice of teras kasi as I don't think I could live up to them. I'm a humble musician. 
Ah the armor aspect. I have never used armor... yet. I'm human and it would restrict me too much right now. I may use it in the futurethough. I was looking into some boots and gloves because they will protect but will not hamper my regen and costs much.
actually if u used ur BRAINS you would know that we have SUPPORT skillz such as BLIND, STUN, and the BEST one of all INTIMIDATE.....

Lol, yeah right buddy, first of all its a graul mauler, and no you cannot tank one by yourself, maybe if it was lying on its back and not fighting at all, but you wouldnt last more than 3 hits against a rancor or a graul mauler.
i am ALSO a TKA master on the same server as Lo-Bai and i have beaten rancors and grauls USING these skills. many of you tka dont realize that the unarmed skillz you learn unto tka are very useful. just using all you strongest moves wont guarentee you the battle. you need tacticsand brains to beat your opponents.
if say i was a TKM challenging another TKM... i would first hit them with a few of those and spam uh2 without vibro's.... the not so smart on would most likely spam uh3...since he is blind, stunned and intimmed...he will miss and do WAY less dmg then me...also by me usuing uh2 without the vibros im not on the constant HAM kill for myself.
using tactics is allways better than just brute force...remember that

Grammar aside he states a point in that word jumble. Even if you are not a master brawler, skills like intimidate and expecially stun are very effective in surviving and winning a fight. One stun attack by itself can and will sway the battle in your favor, a consecutive intimidate will further cripple your opponents ability to do damage but will not harm your opponent any. Blind will damage and halve your opponents accuracy. Am an currently only finishing my advanced blocks so I do not yet have head hit or hit three, so I will not comment on their effectiveness.
As it stands I mainly use my Vibro's for white con and above. Blue and down is a waste of durability.

I 've also taken many martial arts and currently take Aikido. Trust me Japanese teachers are called senseis, not O'Sensei. Sensei= highest ranking teacher in Japanese arts, Sifu= the same in chinese ones.
