Thread: Sick of TKA who do not know what they are talking about rub things in our face.
Anyways I'm a TMA so why should I get owned by a Novice Pistoleer with a few boxes to get the stupid pistolwhip? Anyways on with my rant I'm Master TKA, Almost master CH and soon might be Master brawler, Also have marksman and Ranged support spec which I'm going to give up to master brawler and if I have enoughpoints I'llget Novice fencer and the first line in Fencerfor defense bonuses,hell if I have enough points I'll do Novice Swordsman and Pikeman but anyways beingas what I am and what my finished character shouldbewith a huge ammount of defenses(Even if they don't work) And a small army of pets say 3 mountain dewbacks pls 3 faction pets why the hellshouldn't Ibe ableto solo red cons? Why shouldn't I be able to solo a Rancor with6 Pets and a monstrous Trandoshan melee tank?
Ok, all you morons who are saying your a TKA master and you solo reds all the time, solo really tough reds, and solo reds easily, BULLSH1T!!!
Let's say it like it should be said!! "I solo reds easily because I let my pets and faction perks do all the damage taking and all the work whileI sit there safely and punch and kick!"
I am a TKA Master, probably the first one on Kauri server, under 3 weeks from launch. You morons needto stop saying your soloing reds all the time, or your soloing tough reds because using pets, faction perks, or exploits like the bridge on Lok, a friend medic who doesn't fight just heals, buffs from your medic friend,etc is not soloing!!
Sure, I can take out a nightsister Initiate, if I'm lucky! But to say that I can take them out all the time, or easily, or take out a Nightsister dragoon or it's equal is just plain bullsh1t!!
Soloing is standing there against your red con enemy (BY YOURSELF!) and slugging it out with them. Yes this includes your special moves and no it's not soloing if ANYTHING or ANYONE else is in any way tampering with you, your enemy, or the combat in any way!
Get real, morons because it's too easy to say you can solo reds all the time or its easy to solo reds or I can solo tough reds when so many other factors are involved. Anyone want to show me they can REALLY solo a nightsister Dragoon, let me know who you are and what server your on because I can make a free character on your server and watch you get your a$$ handed to you!! The bet is you post here when we aredone that your stupid a$$ is trying to brag like a child and got the crap kicked out of you when you tried to REALLY solo! If you make it(which you won't), I will post here an apology to you! Any takers, because I can find you any kind of nightsister you want me to!!
My post is to anyone who is saying the crap about soloing reds easily, all the time, etc. and are not adding in the fact one of the many variables that take place (mentioned some in my previous post).
Heh, one of the devs said using pets or faction pets is soloing? that goes to show why we and many other things about this game are messed up. Solo = 1 Pretty simple to understand. Your NOT soloing if you have someone or something helping you in any way at any time durring the fight!! It's really simple!
MasterGraith I can assure you that I use no pet, my other skills are artisan, and some marksman. I use no faction pets, i dont even PvP. I dont use a probot, i solo hunt 95% of the time, i kill fambaa with 99% success, it does require knockdown, it does require stim-b sometimes, i NEVER use VK. I kill most mobs i take on, including most mobs that choose to take me on.
I dont try and solo multiple baz nitches, part of the key to being a good hunter is knowing what not to fight. You are whining and crying and screaming bull$%^76. Frankly i cant figure out why you are having so much trouble believing it, you are TKM, you're probably even Trandoshan.
I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with TK. I'm not condoning any of the changes SOE had made to TK. but if you don't think TKM is viable in PVE as a soloist you cannot be more wrong. Log onto Scylla anytime sir, my character name is Fara, im human TKM, i will kill fambaa all day long. Jumping on these boards and having a pity party for yourself and calling people who actually enjoy their class morons is not the way.
Fambaa, Baz Nitch, Nightsister (Stalkers and Rangers are tough, maybe 50/50 success on those) Rancor, Graul, Gurreck, and many other red con mobs are all Killable by a solo TKM in its current state. Granted, these cannot be done dependably without novice medic skills, and using KD's is a must.
Not blowing my own horn, but not gonna be called a moron by someone who obviously doesnt play the class to its full potential. If you're not having fun with TKM, drop it, name-calling and argueing will accomplish nothing.

Right now with other skills he can solo yes. but the point is that he is hurting very badly as a master with the cost of moves. A tank class should have a much lower cost on moves then any gun user. right now it is the other way around.

As Holo noted on the main boards, NOBODY should be able to solo a red - 95% of the time they should "kick your butt" (his words).
Saying things like that will only hurt the class in long run then help. You few people are the ones that really need to sit back and have a nice **edit**
I guess I'm more sanguine about it - first, every single person here is entitled to their opinion. I trust the Devs enough to know they'll take my point of view as a Novice into account as much as your point of view as a Master -- our class (and every class) should be balanced all the way from the bottom to the top. If Novices can solo reds (I can't) but Masters can't, then something is wrong and needs to be fixed.
I don't think you and I disagree on that much as far as our class balance. But I do disagree with the way you lost your temper and insulted half the board simply because they haven't powered to Master and you have (and first on the server, as you had to point out).
Time to lump Ferret and Graith into that same group of "Holy **edit**e, where is my post ignore button."

READ my post in detail, I said I could take reds but to say take reds all the time (meaning one after another), tough reds (Nightsister arch witches, dragoons,etc), and reds easily is just what I said it was, bullsh1t!

The point of the post was to have one of you show me 'In game' that you can take a Nightsister dragoon (my origional post example;tough red) or you can handle one red after another, or you can handle a red EASILY!
So far the only person to actually say lets go, backed out in realization that he/she couldn't do it! Whatever the excuse is. But now, yes the HAMS have been lowered on all the other moves, but EVEN so, I would like to see you do it! Any takers, even after the HAMS were reduced?? Don't waste my time with pets, perks, friends assisting in any way, exploits of any kind, etc. because I will log asap and post here without even watching!

Are from the same person. To me I think that saying that something is a "complete game buster" and "a freakin joke" and that people playing this class were "just F*cked" and that saying that the game was "wasiting my money and time" is PRETTY MUCH SAYING "people couldn't have fun with their characters."

3 weeks?I tank for my pet. It's either a baby dwarf nuna or a baby sand beetle. They really aren't much help against anything that cons red to me. I solo almost exclusively and when I'm with a friend, I'm also the one that tanks. I've been on Lok once. I think I got a grand total of about 2k exp from 2 kimogillas and various npcs. I'm the medic if I fight with others and I don't use buffs. Oh, and I'm not part of a faction, yet. I have 50 Imp points as of last night. What perks can I get with that?
We're not soloing real reds? Apparently that red star thingy by the creature's HAM bars aren't real. Go figure. Taking on a 10k+ HAM mob solo just isn't soloing a red. D@mnit all.
Man, if becoming a Master TKA means becoming a complete and utter arrogant pr!ck like these two guys, I don't think I want to be one. It's people like you that ruin the fun of the game for me. Not the game itself.
