Yes they can.
Using only TKA skills to deal damage? That would take a really long time. Longer than buffs last. I suppose someone could jump on their bike and get out of range so they can buff themselves back up. Or do you mean some other way.
No on the doctors buffing in combat thing. I agree TKA's are NOT soloing krayts. I was answering your question on that post is all

TKM's don't go solo'ing krayts. Sure you can stand there take the blows for hours. But the real problem here is a TKA has no good way of damaging a krayt.. Krayts are very resistant to kinetic damage, in addition taht heavy armor is a **tch.

Well, quite rightly (at least when I've tried) it can't be done, not even close. I've taken down a Giant Dune Kimoglia, that was 80k HAM and still took over an hour with full buffs, 80%kinetic, lvl 60+ pets, drugs and food. Thanks to their disease it was frequent heals (running away, hiding in a house, meditate etc). Krayts are 300k+ HAM.
Rifleman is the proff to look at if you want to solo a krayt, TKM haven't got a hope of doing it - anything with kinetic resist means a long long hard slog and most likely death for a TKM. For those that say they have solo'd a krayt, all I can presume is that it wasn't a proper one (ie. one of the lesser forms of krayts) or they were exploiting.

They used to be really good at dizzy + KD too.
Didn't those of you who tried this spend a lot of time on your backs unable to fight back?

Umm, TKM's CAN solo Krayts. The ones with 20/40k ham.
Haha, once I had the luck to see a Juvenile and Giant fighting (krayts) and the Giant was left with almost no HP, was close to getting experience for it but it just had to de-spawn... before that it chased me, and damn those things run FAST. He ran way faster than I could ride my swoop.
Wish I could mount one o' those.

As a TKM/MHS I tanked a krayt for about an hour without requiring any heals at all. I was lucky to only get a few armor hole hits and none right together so I had time to regen.

before i switched over to tka 4400 swordsman master doc 0340
i was rifleman doc master i killed 3 juv's and 2 full krayt in a day
one large krayt was an assist one was solo with concel shot and a lot of runing in between
juves do not take 30 min to kill with rifleman ever
but adults take a long long time so bring coffe camo and some power up's
im going to try it with swordsman tka and see how i get one with 90% efective armor from wols and a 639 hammer from labeth
ill let you know
oh and if you get two to aggro if you do enough dam you do get a pearl .....

guildmate is master swordsman/master doc and solo's Giant Krayts and NS elders all the time.

I've tanked for a group of 3 people while killing a krayt, and hardly took any damage. I had full buffs, music buffs, 2 brandies, 2 canape, powerboost, and muon, and hardly took any damage. I am near positive i would be able to take on a giant canyon krayt solo if given the opportunity.
