I don't think entertainer buffs worked back then, maybe they did for a bit before powerboost got nerfed. But I do remember popping a muon and then powerboosting, having 2400 mind and people yelling HAXZOR!

Imagine, 1100 mind + 1100 entertainer buff + 850 brandy + 500 muon + 1000 glazed glucose = 4550/2 = 2275 to all stats... dump that on doc buffs and that's an easy 5k+ health and action, and almost 7k mind

FAQ's pretty old. I'd like to see an updated version, as I'm about to start up the TKA tree myself. There's still a lot of useful information in there, though.

Primary HAM pools. Not sure about armor, dont wear it too often myself.

The only thing to affect the outcome is your mind pool and your meditate skill mod. The meditate mod only changes the duration of the boost (I think). Basically your mind is temperarily cut in half and all your HAM pools (not substats) ramp up to original value + half of mind.

You are right about meditation skill affecting only the time.

A lot of TKA's migrate stats over to mind as you gain a boost tothe three HAM stats of 50% of your current mind. Personally I have 1300 mind and get a +650 boost to three stats which is VERY nice.


The important point is =current= Mind... If you have wounds then it uses the current value. If you are injured and have not allowed your Mind to regenerate before activating then you will see a smaller buff. Armour has no effect.

Note, you have to have half your mind available at powerboost commandtime to get it started.. Your H&A will start growing by +50% mind, and your mind will regen in the same time frame (30 seconds or so) to what it was, then also jump by the +50%.

And while wounds will be subtracted from the boost, having a mind buff before you use powerboost will not increase the amount of boost you get.
