People, please, this thread will tell you almost everything you need to know about the Katarn Knucklers,

what slices to get, the estimated dps everythign you need to know.

This seems to be one of the last forums to actually consider DPS a meaningful stat. Its not.

Bottom line: Katarn at 715+120 cold = 835 > Nightblade

715 x 8% = 772 + 120 = 892 = most damage from a Teras Kasi weapon.

The Nightblade is close enough to not be in left field but it does put out less damage than the Katarn.

What I am looking for are 2 informations not more not less only 2:

your unarmed damage skill
look under crtl+s

your unarmed speed
look under crtl+c

Accuracy also would be nice. PLEASE

Unarmed speed 102 ctrl c

Unarmed damage 345+379 crtl s (379= with BE cloths which cap @ +25) I don't know if BE cloths actually work though

Unarmed Accu 157 crtl c

My rl wife plays as a TKM/Mdoc and I already sliced her Katarn, but last night I fully sliced her Nightblade with 8% damage and the level 1 speed slice and level 1 critical hit slice.

It came out to 820 max damage up from 760 it was when looted. 892>820 no question.

Yeah, it's true, the Katarn is the better weapon. The nightblade, however, is still nothing to sneeze at. It easily beats the crap out of using blaster fists or bare hands, especially if get get a good one and slice it 131. (2% speed, 8% damage, 3% critin non-smuggler terms) I have both now, and I will say that even though the Katarn is the better weapon, it's only because of the extra cold damage. Speed is roughly the same with the +10 speed on the nightblade, or at least it is to me.

I'm still using my nightblade since it's ADK'ed and the Katarn isn't, but I'm trying to sell theNightblade for an ADK + 1 mill so I don't have to destroy a nice weapon toget the ADK back. Not to mention I payed a lot more for mine since I wasn't having much luck getting a Katarn at the time. Then 3 days later I managed to nab a katarn for 3.5 mill.

My speed (unarmed) is 115, 125 with the nightblade equipped, but it didn't seem to change much. Accuracy is 200, 10 of that comes from the PSG I wear.

Well the my template below I had my Katarn Knuckler sliced this slice:

Katarn Dmg Sliced (8% Dmg, 3% Critical, 2% Speed)
Speed: 1.96
Dmg: 386-772
Base Dps: 356.63 /s

And my Modded DPS was up to 598, without a pup. trying to get KoK for a different type of slice aswell

the cold on kk does not at the them max damage of the weapon it the max damge timeswhat ever special then add on the 120 points of cold damge...so adding it into the maxdamage is misleading

I have a well sliced Nightblade and sliced Katarn. The nightblade has the better looking stats for damage, but my katarn does WAY better in all PvE. I am so incredibly disapointed in the Nightblade and wondered why it gives such weak damage overall. Tried it on a lot of creatures from NS to level 50cl mobs, and at times it was giving less damage than if I used my bare hands. I am pure TKA as my combat. The ch adds no spcials. Anyone able to give me reasons?

I have the same problem with Blasterfists too - less damage than I can give bare-handed.

Unarmed speed 155 (170 when using force speed)

Unarmed damage 375 (400 with BE cloths which cap @ +25) gh

Unarmed Accuracy 267

I used weak powerup on my Katarn and I get924 DPS for now.

I took 8% damage, 3 critical and 2 speed slice
