You don't have Anchorhead or Bestine on your server?

Last time I checked, i.e. last night, both had large amounts of hilly areas that are favoured by both sides, no terrain negotiation is an absolute killer around the hilltop fort in Bestine, and also on the hill leading to Tosche cantina outside Anchorhead.

Sorry I never go to anchorhead and only to bestine as a jump gate.

Bestine its self is flat the surronding area is hilly

Same with anchorhead unless you wana be cute and not use the bridge's

Terrain nego lost much effectivness when vehicles/mounts were put in.

besides every body with out terrain nego knows they can zig zag up a mountain faster than running straight up it,

So you'v never been chassing a guy who will drop with the next hit and runs up a hill or even a small one just giving him enough of an edge?

Example 2 nights ago a base 200m outside of Anchorhead needed removed about 30 of were assmbled comming from the base back into AH to rebuff before the base goes Vul we get jumped from behind a fight begings on the hill behind the cantian of AH I if i had had terrrin neg it would have been a verey differnt fight but because of that I couldnt chase I had to let them come to me.

Second Zig zag isnt allways the best way nor allways the fastest.

and your comment about citys being flat and all that Fights dont allways occour inside a city only many times I find imps ruinning from us outside of the city where there is less lag or When they are about to die or what ever other reason you want. I have never seen a pvp rule saying u have to stay in a city. which is why Ill proably pick up terrian neg. agine verey soon dropping it was a hudge mistake

On Chim nobody realy goes to AH to PvP. Make a char on the server and go to Luxor on Lok. Or Sunfall on Tatooine. Those are two of the big field that PvP is played on. Reliance on Rori is also a big PvP-gathering-place.

Also SL is quite comming in battles and solos not. (on Chim).

Personally I think melee/combat medic is cheap.. But it does sound effective.

Alota people can cure poison nowdays. Atleast the avid PvPers and Jedi have some sort of poison cure.

I have TKM/Fencer 4400/Doc 4030. I also have a nice acklay stun baton that I use sometimes if they're kd'd. Speeds things up quite abit. But most of the time I find myself using TKM just because at that lvl in fencer you don't have many options. And doc is just standard. I can cure most poisons in 1 or at the most 2 cures.

With thakillo I usually get up within one or two attempts of my dizzy heal macro. And its really needed that you stay inside if you want to avoid ranged. I have them both high, but still get hit more than a plain ole fencer. My kingdom for defense acuity.

PSG + stun armor > stun batons

Sad but true, very nice def template though.

AS for melee/combat med being cheap. I take it you have never used a dot weapon?

This is not about Chimera.

For example, no one does anything on Rori on my server.

SL is not as common as being without one. (in general)

Master Brawler (lunge2, intimidate2, warcry 2... etc...)

Teras Kasi Master (toughness, kinetic damage, meditation... etc...)

Fencer 4,4,4,0 (Stun batons, Knockdown defenses, melle mitigation...etc...)

Swordsman 0,0,4,4 (blast damage from powerhammer, counter-attack, knockdown and posture change defenses, etc..)

Pikeman 0,0,4,0 (DOT's from NightSister lances, Area knockdown, some more melee mitigation, etccc...)

This leaves 8 SP's to do whatever with.

All together I believe this gives you...

  • Defense vs Knockdown +105

  • Melee defense +166

  • Ranged Defense +139

All sorts of nice stacks going in this one. Personally I'm a TKM/Doc not much of a PvP'er but I can take care of myself pretty well.

Just a thought

Your overkilled in defense as you cap at 125 so remember that. However, with the dot nerf hitting on tue. this is something to consider as an overall mix of damage types.

One other point, without accuracy and speed, pikeman is severely hindered, so i wouldnt recommend using it for any forms of attacks. Terrain neg pikes are avery helpful however.

And your current template ain't nothing to scoff at either. It's indeed effective alone.

Nice work.

Dont take it as an insult. Im just saying that me as a player on Chim cant realy see why you need TN. Most raids are planned ahead and all the targeted towns lay in flat areas. Im not sure where/how people on other servers have set up their town. Not saying anything is better then the other.

If the movies showing battles on Chim were easy to get hold of, I would post a like.
If you guys have movies from battles on your servers then please post a link so that others can understand from where your comming.

AH now works as a noob-fp-place on Chim. At the Rouge CorSec POI theres 2 Rebell bases for the imp to farm on. Also most of the faction POIs on Rori has been overtaken by rebs (imp dont want to take em back as they can farm there to). Bestine is a meetingplace for PvPers, just as much as Theed is. Its not every day you see someone die in Coronet tho.

Im not ranting down on anyone. Just saying that TN is almost useless in PvP on Chimaera.

(ps. If by any chanse the server is up then get the adress from #swg.ReDevils q-net, Derec owns the server)
