say they aura right before fight. i armorbreak and then kd/bind/critical/flurry just to get there health down a slight bit but mainly to get their action down and fast. the more misses = the less you have to heal and the more they waste action. so yea flurry might seem like a waste but to me its useful at beggining of fight.

btw ive beaten every pvpr on my server 1 on 1 except for 3 different jedi, and im lookign for reduels soon, and im fairly sure im going to win them all.

Yes, I've beatenJedi on a couple ofoccasions as well, butmostlybecause of their mistakes or even sheer luck. Logistically, it should beimpossible formostany TKM template to defeat a full-templated Jedi with, say, enhancement 3xx2, healing 4xxx,saber 0404 and mdef. They have all the advantages:innate armour superior to ours, avoid incap,a combat speed buff equivalent to adrenal boost, a guaranteed 1500 point heal that can be used at will even through KD, an icob with no warmup, an armour break superior to what we get from dabbling in swordsman, a ranged knockdown, a root, a snare...

It is not impossible, even logically. You forget they have one, big disadvantage. A force pool! With doc 4004, I can heal for around 1500. So Im not hitting them as hard, big deal. All I have to do is stay alive and make them heal occasionally, and they will be out of force in no time. Once they reach about 1/4 force pool (I have to roughly estimate), I begin my assualt. Taking them by surprise, they are caught constantly healing and trying to apply enhancements. Usually within seconds they are on their back, AB'd, and dead shortly afterwards. In mass PvP, apply an AB or KD's you can. Heal any teammates that are incapped.

i have to agree with that last post, someone said to me if you go trying to take a jedis health bar chances are you will lose the key is it to try and diminish the force pool which with the right foods, good stimpack use and healing effectively you should have np

part of diminishing their force is to force them to heal

I have learned that beatign jedi in pvp, especially a full temp is possible, but only if the jedi has worse equipment than you. Becasue of how jedi is structured, they can get the best moves of our proffessions with less skill points spent. The way to beat them is really through swordsman, you need the high damage Power Hammers and you also need Headhit, Sword Flurry helps but when you have to use it, you are already most likely dead.

The Real danger from a jedi is when he starts to go into damage overdrive, if you hold off the heal, just make sure Cob is running, you can stay on a even level with them, the second they get you healing, and the second they begin to just damage, you are dead. Jedi have hit me with over 1200 damage a hit. When they do that, you are dead. So you have to keep offensive, using moves like Sword Flurry to deal damage while holding them back.

Their template matters alot too, a MLS with very good equipment, I theorise is nearly impossible to defeat, especially if they coupled it with Mdef. Should you run into one of these, my best advice is to run into a river. Should you hit a mixed Ls, i.e. x4x4, you stand a fairly good chance. Mpowers/Menhancer is an odd temp becasue very few use it well, just high damage and COB and you should be fine.

yep, pre-cu uber saber with MLS hard to beat, but you get them to heal first, you have a chance.

Best thing to do is use a Katarn Knuckle with a damage power up, /kneel and have auto hit on them, each hit does a decent bit of damage so they are always having to heal, you can focus on healing and by been knelt you recover your action and mind quicker which helps to.

You can just grind there force out like that, also throw in a couple of blinds/dizzies if you have em as well as a few high damage attacks on the off chance you can catch em out.

not true. ab/kd off the bat, if you have a speed sliced/pup'd katarn, means a constant nonstop heal-loop for a jedi (unless they're mdef) with my speed/damage on my katarn, I get them to 1/3 life by the time they get back up, and I can continue that damage output, but thats just me. I fight finished template jedi/knights every day

if you wait a little more for the KD, then they will get closer to 0 HP, and heal even more often

To start with... hope your Jedi target is not a MLS. If they are not MLS (0404) then you will have an easier go of it. With ICOB they will miss you about 50% of the time. What I tend to do is KD, AB, Combo1, PowerAttack. By the time they get up you will have nailed a lot of damage on them. Of course, they will get up and heal... but that's to be expected. Make sure you are running bacta infusion... and the next thing I try and do is take the series of blows that are undoubtedly coming. If you can last the 20-30 seconds of blows from them... then you have a chance. Usually a Jedi will hit you with everything they got which usually leaves them hurting on the side of action. This is where I go for the KD again. If you time it right, they don't have the action to stand up right away. Lay on the fast damage quick and you have a chance.

Key things to have are speed power ups on your Katarn Knucles, some good bio clothes to boost your healing efficiency, and keep blind on them (helps them miss more often).

As TKA I find the best strategy is to just armorbreak and rotate melee hit/melee strike to start. Get the jedi thinking that this is your maximum damage onslaught making them overconfident. Just try to withstand their blows (food is absolutely necessary here) until your melee hit/strike combo has them at below 50% health. Keep the armorbreak up at all times. Once they are below 50%,surprise them with a KD and rotate your two high damage attacks (combo and...?)

If they don't go for it, just rinse and repeat until it works or they have no mind bar left. If you are trying to drain a jedi's force bar post-CU ... Kudos to you on doing about 10 times the work, but mind bar is much faster.
