just a question of mine, im currently the pike tkm doc 4000 template and i would like to experiment with say dropping tkm, i have mods on my armor that are as follows +22 healin effeceincy +25 pole speed +25 pole acc +15 gen melee speed +12 gen melee acc +25 ranged/melee defence, i want to drop my tkm and say go for a bit of fencer but im worried that i might lose alot of valuable speed def etc that you gain from a master box, if anyone has dropped the tkm box after using it can they let me know what its like plz my pike speed atm with a pup is 0.79 so i would hate to drop tkm and then have it hit the roof

also heres my input for this thread, iv dueled some of the best jedi on the server to begin with i found the main problem was there dmg output and the speed at which they were doing it, at first i used to panic heal which can be the death of you, make sure if you heal for say 1200 dont use a heal when your only 500 dmg down etc, also if you have any debuffs whatso ever say for pikeman its warcry and intimidate make sure you have them in both those states constantly they are a huge help, if you can tick to using stims and avoid using doc heals as much as possible to save your mind take ruby biel to decrease the stimpack runtime and take healing effeciency bonus foods to limit the amount youll need to heal, if possible also get a medical droid since the nerf of doc heals from 1500 to 1200 i have managed to get my heals upto about 1800 which is a huge bonus and will make your mind last alot longer and hopefully out last them, also like to thank the person who mentioned the armor break slice, i had totally forgot about that, and if you are someone that is really into dueling jedi then i suggest getting the recon armor that has 8k+ energy resists it will cost you a fair bit but will significantly decrease the dmg you take

I see exactly that kind of tip a lot, but I can't really see how that works against the MLS/Mdef combo, if the jedi has a good saber. The jedi simply has better versions of every move you have listed. Aura has no zip bar like CoB, saber AB sticks more often than the 2-h version, sabers can have better dps than hammers/fists. They have all thestates stun/dizzy/blind, and can apply it very fast due to low saber speed.

I ask: what do a normal melee prof have, that can outdo that?

....No, Saber speed is bugged to use base damage and not the modified damage.

in a reply to zarqon about what do melee sproffs have that can out do that, basically we have the potential to debuff slightly and do not rely on force, if you really want to beat a jedi in the most boring way, stock up on mitigation/healing foods and basically tank till they run out fo force then hit them with everything you have with high energy resist armor and double melee temp this should be no problem, in my opinion theyre force cost is there only real undisputed weakness

deathstruck i totally agree with youa jedis main weakness is he's force thts what im trying to explain but people will say no he will beat u if he's force is down he cant heal only run.

and when he cant heal u can strike him hard with AB kd crit strike and head hit that gives him serious dmg like 800-1000

well, it can be if you expect the best time for a knockdown to be more than 30 seconds away... such as if you're waiting for his aur/CoB to run out which he started just at the beginning of the fight

yep, the best time is to wait for their COB/aura to run out of when they are really low on health/action
