I have been playing since release, andhave never worn armor.. (I am not a wookie). If you are smart and have some skill you dont need armor. My opinion only

I wear the necessary 4 pieces of composite armor (chest, gloves, boots, helm) and bioengineered hawtpants (+25 injury/wound treatment).

i have read in MANY MANY MANY posts that the biceps are now required. they are slowly fixing the bug, though it really does not matter as i don't like to wear armor unless i am in a REALLY bad situation

at the suggestion of others i will give ahrisa a try. as you can see in my sig i am also a Master Rifleman and a couple of my rifles take a HUGE toll on my mind (128-150 per shot) if i am not fully prepared...so we shall see.

Just running around/fighting low level to mid level mobs I just wear my ceromonial robe and comp gloves and boots for looks.

Fighting high level mobs/PvPing I wear a full suit of kin comp armor with the exception of the helm which depending on what I'm killing is either stun or kin.

Mind ecum. doesnt matter to me much I get dancer/musician buff, drink brandy, eat canapeand if need be I use a muon.

But I have 4k mind.

Show me what you got.
And I'll show you I can take it all away...
With a single word.

This IS true. I was wearing the 4 piece suit on Endor, and my health was draining quickly, so I put on every health protection I had with me (didn't have bracers) and it worked, never got hit for much damage (I don't wear armor either, but I did when grinding swords on Endor).

Well i always wear atleast Helm, Chest, boots, gloves, mainly because i switch to the flamethrower to apply DOT and with the delay i get hit for alot more when i used that then when i use TK skills, on an intimidated krayt dragon i took about150 more damage pr hit while using the flame as opposed to using TKA

You take more damage when holding a rifle or heavy weapon apparently...

Well, that was changed awhile ago.

The reason he is being hit for more, is because the unarmed toughness does not work with any weapon on besides a Vibro Knuckler (Or just being unarmed)

I switch between Comp and Ubese, depending on what I'm fighting. I never buff, other than tka buff, and don't use food. No specials either, I just let the vk's do their work. There aren't many things I can't take on.

It's more than that. Melee vs Ranged gets a bonus to damage. Equiping the FT means you lose unarmed toughness AND get hit with a penalty for using a ranged weapon vs melee attacks. It's similar todifferent postures. When one person is standing and the other is kneeling. The person who is kneeling gets a bonus to aim, but they also get a penalty in that the damage against themgoes up.

Umm, them kneeling just makes em easier to hit, not make you do more damage
