errr...NOT being able to see past your own nose!

Perhaps you cannot see past your own nose. Dude you had me convince a lot time ago. I have already posted on their forum to support them.

All I keep telling you is that Ive had the opportunity to see some in acction and tehy were doing great. Not only that when I ask4d them about htere profesion they said they liked it. Yes they said it needed changes but overall thy were happy.

Like I have said before they get MY SUPPORT AND YOU HAVE ME CONVINCED, So stop being so uptight about it. No one is saying they need improvements and noone is saying that they are better than TKA. Personally I wnat them to get a whole lot better.

If this is not enough for you to understand my support, then you are the one that cannot ee past his own nose. Just listen a little. Constructive criticism is not bad or negative, its the way to get things fixed.

Xeonus.......................................reguarding other melee

a rating from 1 to 10 as somone who has played every melee profession.

1) TKM .....8.5

2) sword......6.5

3) fencing....5.5

4) pikemen...4.5

TK is ahead of these proffessions and this is what i say about it.

1) When Jedi is introduced and finaly unlocked, and being a master in swords or fencing, or pikeman does not matter, then these class's definatly need to be increased.

2) if it is required to have master swords or fencing, or pikemen to being able to be a jedi and fling around a light saber that will do 4x more dmg then stuff now, then i say, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOTTOUCH THESE CLASS's

now whats what? who knows i think devs should give a hint to calm the other melee professions, and if it isn't part of the scheme i think they should atleast say so.

right now TKA is ahead of the class, but that could change just as easily in the future or near future. I still think TKA needs some work to it. The trend I see from SoE is working on TKA and moderatly working on other class's. That leads me to believe that 2) stated above is the case, or that sony hates all of you pikemen out there and wants you to DIE! /shrug

I have the sneaking suspicious someone here is trying to go pikeman and wants to try and get two group to whine for help at the sacrifice of the TKA profession getting help. When I comes to this game it seems to be up to the classes to get things done. Because most of the people will only help themselves anyway so the only thing helping another class gets you is not having the bugs in your professions fixed.

I am TKA to the BONE. Just because someone like you doesnt give a rats nether reigons about other players who have invested time, money and effort and are suffering for it doesnt mean eveyone is that way.

I will be TKA Master if it kills me and then after that I wont have enough for pikeman because I am also a Creature Handler at 2-2-1-2 so BACK OFF!

#1. Pikeman's defense should not be using armour- All though i would be fine if this were the case; we do 200-300 damage to ourself no matter what special move we use as it is. A full set of armour wouldn't matter becouse we would kill ourselves faster than they could if we wern't wearing the armour. As a matter of fact we can do that with out aremour too, unles you fight something that can kill you ina few hits and is way ahead of your skill level, withought a tatooine sunburn, you are sealing your own coffin.

#2. Pikeman NPCs- I have the FUNNISEST screen shot ever on my home pc. While i was working on getting Lv3 fencer, i took on a red con out side of dearic with my brand new vibro blade. He pulled out a Long Vibro Axe and I imediatly felt ashamed becouse i looked liek a sell out. That NPC swung at me 33 times before i Killed him. He missed 31 times. I wanted to post it on the pikeman boards under "Hey, Some One Does Have It Worse Than Us!"....but never got around to it.

#3. Pikeman damage and accuracy- I fight torurs and tortor bulls for exp most of the time and I am fully capable of dispatching a tortur in 2 hits with lots of over kill. I am sure if got a good hit i could do it in one. BUT i have been incapped by many meager torturs who i simply couldn't hit, and if i kill them i only get 1 exp. Do TKAs get 1 exp from anything they can get incapped by? The problem with pikeman is we NEVER know what we can do. One time i was in a rot mite cave and one of them jumped my freind. I was standing right next to him(the idea was he shot them and i protect him when they run up), i messed 7 times in a row, he got inccaped and my health was down to nothing becouse all my sunburns were broken, so I got incapped too.

#4 range for all melee should change to at least the point where any thing that is using melee attacks on you is with in range, i hate it when they move just out of your range.

#5 Exp- Pikeman are EXP WHORES!!! i swear it, if there is a pet between us and what we are fighting so that we arn't taking hits, we will whore everyones exp.

#6 blind- for crist sakes we should get a huge defense to this. Comon....-50/-50/-50 accuracy AND BLIND? i don't think i even HAVEa blind move. My TKAs always insit we duel when they get new skill. I always get blinded, those rascals.

#7 more defense- In PvP we should do more damage to a tka each hit than they do to us each hit.

#8 Tatooine sunburns- They REALLY need to fix these....they keep breaking. Every day i have to make a trip to corellia and buy more stacks and the next day they are all broken....i literaly have 100s of unusable sunburns, and you must trust me on this, i cannot fight anything of any value without them. that has little to do with pikeman but it seems liek this gets worse and worse all the time.

How is quoting a whole paragraph of yours 'taking it out of context'? Your whole post had the same tone. If you came off wrong that would be your own fault for misrepresenting yourself, not mine for taking it at face value. Now you just sound like you're backpedaling.

That was my point (why Alkee was still logged in I don't know). Is the fact that with the masses if teenagers playing this game if we just bounce to the aid of another profession and get them buffed up then we fall. You have to help yourself too. The way these nerfherders in here are wailing about helping the other professions you'd think they don't even care about TKA anymore.

Your attack on me just reiterated my point that you need to look out for your profession. Yes right now TKA is the most fixed profession but we still have broken skills (powerboost). Granted the fixsare "coming soon" but that doesn't mean we just forget all the pushing we where doing.

Why is TKA on top? We pushed the hardest. How do we stay first in the Devs fixit queue? Push. If we go take up arms and play big macho hero man to ever other profession we're going to come back and see our profession still broken.

The point you completely ignored in my post (the one by alkee) was that its fine to say "yeah devs fix them too", but don't neglect your own profession. Instead of acknowledging that you seem to want to snip a paragraph out of context and whine. But I can't stop you, hopefully others actually read my full post for saw what I was trying to say instead of looking for reason to complain.
