What is so 'special' about getting TKM? From reading on this board, I know that people can get TKM status in less than a week ( yeah, I'm talking about you! the hardcore and macro players ).

Now, I would consider the Jedi/Sith status not 'special' only if I was to see a bunch of them running around in the game - which up until now I haven't seen one yet, at least on my server.

Yeah, TKA is really cool. The profession is awesome. Wonder why so many people are TKA?

First off I never realized there was a fix for TKA and I believe I got through the lower levels before the patch came out. I am new to TKA myself, but I never plan to leave. The reason for this is that I have been artisan, weaponsmith, and rifleman, dancer, medic, and Master doc. (I have never used a pistol) TKA is just so much fun compared to any other profession I tried that I do not want to leave TKA.

I do not think that it is easier to become a master TKA than it is to become master in many other professions. I created this character with the intentions of becoming a master TKA and I will be a Master Medic and Master Doc before I finish TKM. The issue is that it is allot more FUN to be a TKA so people can invest more playing into a shorter duration of time because they ENJOY doing it.

In this game no profession is that hard to master (except maybe CHEF, BH, etc.) People are encouraged to try all the different professions. In this natural order 8 months or so since release, more people have tried TKA and have realized what a well-designed class it is. I think this was just bound to happen, and if I am correct, then a larger number of TKA's will be here to stay.

I just haven't seen another class that is this fun and this well designed. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. For those who tried it early and stuck with it I am sorry if you feel like we are intruding on your turf, but we all have a right to enjoy the game.

The professions of this game are like 32 spice fiends in the same room with a few fences. Everyone is screaming for their their fix. If you try to give everyone a little bump at the same time, nobody will be satisfied and the screaming will never end. If you single out each one really hook them up , you will slowly end the screaming. I know my turn is coming, but it still does not ease the pain of realizing I am nobody's favorite ho. I'm ashamed to say this, but I picked up TK onlybecause the CH nerf is going to leave my soon-to-be Master Commando controlling gorgs and durnis: ) However, the second I put on thevibros and soloed 8 rogue fambaas (not at the same time), I was hooked. TK isby far the funnest profession I've ever played, andmakesCH look like a bad dream to me. I can't wait for the day whenI master this fine profession. I'll never drop it.

Being able to heal your own wounds and give yourself a nice buff is just too good to pass up. As it stands I'm suprised that anyone would use any other melee proffesion. I was hanging out with some fellow PA members the other day and about 6 out of 8 of them had TKA ability, sad thing is I don't think any of them had any TKA skills a month ago. I'm commando/tka myself and have been for a long time and now instead of being called a commando flavor of the month I'm now called a TKA fotm So I'm gonna live with it until something better comes along because I'm way to lazy to change my template. /whining off

Couldn't agree more. I was a pistol user myself and I have that of all the proffesions i've dabbled in pistol was the least fun. Then I did some low level duels (had unarmed 4 from smuggler) and I fought a mid level TKA. Ah man, after that I was hooked on melee and TKA was a logical choice. I can safely say best decision I've ever made in this game and I'm definatly going to master TKA (this is coming from a chronic dabbler). If only every other proffesion was as much of a joy to play as TKA is.
